My final post before I say good bye for good. P= short one B= tall one.
Far inside the dojo walls on a hill that overlooks the valley, far away from the fighting two older men can be seen resting in a small cabin. As they watch the chaos unfold, the larger of the two, his height around twelve feet tall stands up and starts to head for the house. His muscular, tan body moves slowly towards the door as a white beard flows in the wind. The other, much smaller in comparison turns to the giant. His long, silver hair flows down around his aged clean-shaven face, wrinkles dotting the pale skin. He frowns, raising his eyebrows at the giant.
P: "I thought you gave up fighting years ago. We both know we're in no shape anymore, and you made a prom-"
He is quickly cut off by the giant opening the door of the cottage with a slam, the force almost tearing it off of it's hinges. Turning his head so one eye could be seen, the old man replies in a somber tone.
B: "Aye, tha' I have. But I can't bear watching the Dojo be under attack an' sit on me arse doing nothin' but watching it's citizens be slain. I may be old, bur I've got one last fight in me yet. Choose to stay alongside me if you will, but I know yeh. You're timid, afraid to stand up for what you think is right. If you want me to stay then I'd suggest you'd not waste any breath."
Sighing as the giant walks inside, the smaller man talks to himself in a sad tone.
P:"I expected him to do so... Promise or not, he values honor more than anything else. I shan't dare let him fight alone... No matter how feeble these bones have become, a sorcerer will stay by his friends."
Walking inside after the giant, he closes the door before going to retrieve his old garments. A few hours later, on the front lines, a loud clanking can be heard from inside the Dojo walls. Rounding a corner, a massive twelve foot tall set of steel armor walks towards the battlefield, followed alongside by a six foot elderly man in brilliant white robes, seemingly untouched by any sort of dirt. In the giant's hands was a massive two-ton warhammer, flames running along it's grip and throughout his armor. A helmet in the shape of a roaring bear covers his aged face, made to intimidated those who are faint of heart. In the smaller man's hands is a large book, filled to the brim with aged and folded pages. As they near, the giant speaks in a somber tone.
B:"One more fight. One more fight to save the Dojo, to fight for the righteous cause. On this day, my hammer shall fall once more."
Balthazar, the last of the legion of the Abyss Watchers, and Po, the elderly sorcerer walk towards the combat, preparing to fight one last time.
You can't just expect me to sit by and let the Dojo be attacked, can you? I may have quit, but the place still holds a spot in my heart. As a warning, i'm going all out, but when/if one of my characters die it's permanent. For good. Completely irreversible. I'd prefer if you did the same, but I don't really mind.
