Christmas Eve.
Inside Ry's ship: Quincy's cardboard box.
Quincy was wrapped in a heavy blanket in his box, his eyes red from crying. He had brought three boxes of tissues with him into his box and had used two and a half of all of the tissues total. It was Christmas eve and this bull crap was going down. He had wanted to spend his first Christmas here celebrating, snuggled next to Vorim in front of a fire. He had wanted to enjoy one of the better parts of his life, but no, there was the zombie outbreak. He was angry, he was scared. He was fearful of what might happen to Vorim, of what might happen to Sketch, or any of his other friends. He had his head tucked in between his knees, trying to muffle his crying. He'd be embarrassed as heck of someone opened his box. Overall, he was angry that he couldn't leave to go find Vorim, he was livid that this happened on Christmas eve, and he wanted to leave. He wanted to go back to Falana and stay there, never to return. He wanted to take Vorim, Sketch, and the rest of their family with him, to stay there and never be bothered by the craziness of the Dojo, of Tatakai, ever again. Sure, he had had some good times here, but they were scarce and few.
