Tesuto turned to the fur covered creature, and couldn't help but beckon him over.
"Master Quincy! Come here, please!"
English
-
He walked over, his hood down so his ears flopped back and forth. "Yeah?" he said, the small nimbat following close behind.
-
Tesuto rushed towards the two of them, eager like a child on Christmas morning. He grasped Quincy's hands and held them up to his chest, where he proceeded to lay the seed inside that naturally warmed hands. "Look," Tesuto said, "A cherry blossom seed. In the middle of winter?!"
-
He looks at it curiously. "Well, I have grown winter roses before, but they're enchanted...This is most unusual..."
-
"Isn't it?" Tesuto said as he took the seed back. He looked down, thinking for a moment before staring up at the tree. "I know what must be done. For a seed to Survive for so long, in the cold, and in these conditions..." Tesuto looked at Quincy once more, and stood with a sense of purpose. "It must be planted!"
-
He nods. "We could plant it in the glade? I plant a lot of things there. Its like my garden, of sorts." The nimbat speaks up, "Hey, we could plant it at that temple we found on that mountain!" she says excitedly. "Ember, that's on a different planet." Quincy says to her.
-
Lets try to keep it in last tense ya?
Tesuto shook his head at both the ideas. For the blossom tree to survive in the winter, they would have to go somewhere warm. But also to a place with elevation. There was only one place that could suit that need... "We must fine the Isle of the Blessed, to plant the tree."
-
They both looked at him and said at the same time, "What's that?"
-
"Exactly. It is a massive continent on its own, rather then it actually being an island. The issue, however, is that the island has only been seen once or twice north of the Nozama Rain Forest. Otherwise it is almost myth. That being said, scholars are certain of its existence. Mainly judging by the currents of waves and other factors in that area that I couldn't explain in a short amount of time. If they are certain, then I AM certain that we can find it, and plant this tree as proof." Tesuto slid the seed into the pouch on his side as he talked to Quincy and his friend. "So, Quincy and Companion. Are you up to the challenge?"
-
They looked at each other, then back at Tesuto. "Ill need to go tell a..uh...friend, before we go." Quincy says.
-
"Alright. Do not take too long, for we must be swift. No doubt we have some competition for finding this place. I will bring the car around. Meet me at the bottom of the steps as soon as you can. This will be an adventure to remember!" Tesuto eagerly walked away and out of the gate, and began to bob up and down as he descended the steps....
-
"Yay! Another adventure! Just dont die like last time." Ember said jokingly. "Ha ha, burning in lava is not fun." Q replied, walking back to his and Vorim's apartment.
-
Keep going with your thing till you are ready. Can't reply to that.
-
-timeskip past all the boring stuff- Quincy walked down the steps, Ember in tow. Quincy had an extra bag on his back, hidden by his cloak, two holsters for his sidearms on his left and right leg, and a sheath attached to his bag on his back, which held a strange looking sword.
-
At the edge of the steps parked a blood red 2016 Jeep Patriot. Tesuto leaned up against the SUV with his weapons visible in the trunk. He looked to Quincy and Ember, and got up from his relaxed position and walked beside the vehicles door. "Have you made the necessary preparations?"
-
Quincy nodded. "Yep. Shall we get rolling?" he asked as Ember flew onto his shoulder, sitting on it.
-
"That we shall." Tesuto said, entering the drivers seat of the vehicle.
-
He opens the door to the passenger's seat, sliding in. "Where to first?" he asked.
-
"We need to reach what they call the "Arcanium." A massive library of knowledge," Tesuto said as he shifted the car into drive and pressed on the gas. "While the internet is a great thing, much of this information has been prohibited from entering its servers. For many of the studies and books at this library are one of a kind. It's located in a small town which was built around the library in the Nozama mountains, the opposite side of the world. We'll have to take a plane or boat to get there....." Tesuto exited the roundabout and began to drive down the Dojo's roads. "Do you have any preference?" Tesuto asked Quincy. >Plain >boat
In my quests I usually have choices for you to pick from. These choices never have loopholes.
-
"I think going by plane might be faster." he said.
-
"Yes...I agree. In that case we still have to drive to the strip on the Gellidius. Luckily that won't be too far of a drive. Do you have any more questions?"
-
"Yeah, but ill just ask em as we go. I cant think of any at the moment but im sure I'll wind up having questions later." he replied. "Quincy, you always have questions." Ember added.
-
"Well, as a wise man once said, even Einstein had questions."
-
Quincy chuckled. "Yeah. Heh." Ember yawned, hopping onto the dashboard and lying down on it.
-
"It seems ember as the right idea. Why not rest? It's still a long drive to the airport."
-
"Sounds like a plan." he said as he pulled his hood up, covering his eyes as he rested his head back.
