*Sapphire notices him and trots up, Li'l S hopping out of her pocket and growing to about three feet tall.*
What's going on? Why are you crying? Who are you?

He continues crying for a few minutes before calming down. "M-my n-n-name's K-Karish-shad...th-this is *sniffle* m-m-my si-sister M-Mari..." he manages to eventually say.
-
*Li'l S writes something on his chest in Sphirinian and she reads it before replying.* Well, my name's Sphan'Iri, but everyone calls me Sapphire. Why are you upset? *She tapped her hip with every syllable as she spoke. She was 6'4" and had the appearance of a bipedal white tiger with slate eyes. She wore a slate tank top and tan cargo shorts. Li'l S was a featureless, smooth and shiny humanoid figure that seemed to be white with black stripes, matching her fur pattern.*
-
"I-i reall...really dont wanna t-talk about it..." he said quietly.
-
*She sits down on the opposite side of him from Mari and pats his back awkwardly.* There, there. *The way she said it seemed like she had never done it before.*
-
He sniffled, holding his knees to his chest.
-
Um... How can I help?
-
He sniffles, rubbing his eyes. "I-i d-don't th-think y-you can..." he weakly says, His headache returning.
-
I think there is... There has to be one.
-
He continues sniffling, wiping his nose.
-
Tell me what's wrong... So I can try and help... Sometimes telling someone is all you even need to do.
-
He shakes, trying to steady himself before talking. "M-my b-brother, s-sister, an-and grandm-ma died....they were murdered...." he said grimly.
-
Murdered? By who?
-
He sniffles, rubbing his eyes dry one at a time. "I-i d-d-don't kn-know..." he manages to get out. She noticed he was covered in burns, most of them having burnt through his thick fur and singing his skin, making it look...well...look like burnt skin; all bloody, charred, and overall looking nasty.
-
*Her eyes widen.* How long ago was this?
-
"T-two d-days ago..."
-
There may be time to hunt them down!
-
He shakes his head. "Th-they were part of the i-invasion.."
-
I-I'm sorry...
-
He sniffles again, staring into a mound of shoveled snow. "I c-could have s-saved them...Th-they could b-be alive r-right now...b-but i failed them...N-now all I h-have is M-Mari.."
-
Don't look at it that way... They were murdered... It's not your fault, it's the murderer's.
-
He puts his hands up to his face, crying again. "Th-they're gone...I-i tried everything..b-but.." he said before breaking into sobs.
-
*She can tell he's extremely upset. And though she wasn't one to cry over things, she certainly knew how to try and help. Besides, this may be an opportunity to make a new friend. She awkwardly wraps her arms around him in a caring embrace.* Shhhhhh...
-
He appreciates the hug more than she would understand. He eventually calmed down, leaning against her, crying like a child. His arms had fallen asleep and were by his sides. After a few minutes he had calmed down enough to where he was simply sniffling with the occasional hiccup. "Th-thanks..." he mustered after he had stopped hiccuping.
-
*She keeps hugging him, glancing at what Li'l S has written on his chest.* You're welcome... If you need me for anything, defense, beating someone up for you, even if you just want to meet somewhere and talk, hit this button. *She unclips something from her belt and hands it to him.* The last thing may be tricky though. I'm deaf so I have to bring Li'l S to translate and write things down for me.

He nodded taking the thing. Mari had snuggled up to Kari on his other side, having re-wrapped the blanket around her.
