"Can you write?"
-
She looks as if she nods yes. She backs herself up a little more, re-wrapping the blanket around her.
-
(The figure raises his hand, looking as if he is holding something with finger and thumb, and a small slip of paper appears, which he hands to mari, alongside a pencil)
-
She picks it up, looking at him curiously as it shakes in her hands.
-
"What are you doing here?"
-
It took some time, but she eventually managed to write down, "hiding from murderer" in very sloppy english.
-
(The figure looked as if he was frowning) "What did the murderer look like?"
-
She looked up at him, frowning as she teared up a little. She didn't quite focus on the appearance of the killer when he decapitated her brother.
-
"Did you hear the murderer say anything?"
-
She shook her head no, having been hidden elsewhere as Kari fought him.
-
"Who was murdered?"
my character knows many things, but not to ask that is not one of them.
-
She shakes a little more, the events flashing in her mind as she thought about it. She grasped her head, crying immediately. He could tell whoever was killed was close to her.
-
"Were you with anyone at the time?"
-
She cries harder, not able to write anything as her hands were shaking violently.
-
"Can you talk in any language?"
-
She shakes her head no.
-
"Is there anyone you are able to communicate with?"
-
She shook her head no again. The only ones who could communicate with her was her family, and they, as of recently, were all dead.
-
(He looks at her hands, checking if thy were still shaking)
-
They were indeed still shaking. She clutched them to her legs, trying to steady herself.
-
(The figure looked at her hands. He seemed to have an idea) "Try writing without controlling your shaking?"
-
She tried this, and all she did was make a big scribble.
-
(As she wrote, his eyes were fixed on her hands, noting what shakes took place. Armed with that knowlage, he read the note, easily mentally cancelling out the shake)
-
She had wrote her name, Mari. She pointed at the scribble, then at herself, still shaking.
-
"Ah. I understand. Now, who was murdered?"
