She smiled, taking a bite out of the sandwich. It took her some time to eat but Sapphire could tell she loved it. Once she was finished, she stood up and walked over to her, hugging her tight.

It's alright... Should I carry you?
-
She shakes her head no, only nervous. She didn't actually see anything threatening. After going through what she did, she was going to have issues.
-
Okay... Well if you need anything just tug on my arm.
-
She nods, yawning subconsciously.

*Eventually they make it back to the apartment. Sapphire closes the door and turns back to Mari.* Alright... How about you change into some of the new clothes I got you? That dress looks like it isn't in very good shape... I can have someone fix it up for you.
-
She looks down at the dress, shrugging.
-
*She kneels in front of Mari, holding out the bags.* Just pick what you want to wear and you can change in my room... I'll take care of that dress... I think it's best that you still keep it.
-
She nods, understanding. In a few minutes, she comes out wearing the snowflake sweater and the sweatpants.
-
Awww... You look so pretty! *Sapphire chimes in an uncharacteristically cheerful way.*
-
Mari giggles happily, smiling.
-
*Sapphire motions for Mari to follow her as she sits down on the couch.*
-
Mari sits next to her, leaning on her.
-
So... I was wondering... Why don't you talk very often? Is it that you don't really know how to speak too well? Is it that you don't like to? *She asks, holding out her thumb for the first idea and her pointer finger for the second.*
-
Mari holds up her thumb.

-
She shrugs. There's a first time for everything.

I'll start teaching you tomorrow... For now, is there anything else you need?
