"Oh...what's wrong? Did something happen..?
She asked in a very soft voice, stepping towards him with a worried expression on her face.

He sighed, shaking a little, stepping out from behind the doorway, wearing a white sleeveless tunic and a pair of white wool shorts. The fur on his arms was fluffed to keep him warm, as well as his legs. She noticed another scar on his right arm, around his shoulder. Similar scars were on his neck and collarbone. "A friend of mine was killed recently...murdered...And another is probably paralyzed for some time..." he said, shaking a little.

"Oh...sorry to hear that. I can relate, actually...my parents were killed by terrorists and my brother went missing some time ago..."
-
He rubbed his arm, a little uncomfortable. He didn't have any actual family, as half of him was grown in a lab. How he had a soul was beyond his understanding. "S-so...s-still up for that h-hot chocolate?" he asked. He looked lonely. (but do keep in mind, he is engaged).
-
(I know he is) "Yeah, sure. Sounds like a great way to warm up." She gives a warm and friendly smile, wanting to cheer him up. Falei hates seeing people depressed, especially when it's supposed to be a cheerful time.
-
He nods, smiling a little. "C'mon, it isn't far." he says, walking to the cafeteria.
-
Falei grabs the rest of her armor and weapons, following him while brushing snow off her fur. "So, what's your name?"
-
"I-im Quincy Arktis Frost, but most people call me Quincy, or Frost. Whichever you prefer, i r-respond to b-both.." he said, his gait a little uneven.
-
"Okay. That's a cool name, by the way. I like it." Falei smiled, remembering how nice it was to just casually talk to someone, even in the current circumstances.
-
"S-so...what's your name?"
-
"I'm Falei, the weirdest hybrid ever."
-
He giggles a little. "You dont look too weird..." he said.
-
"I've got a wolf head, horns for some reason, and wings. Dragon type wings. Now I don't know who my grandparents or great grandparents were, but dear god did they do some weird shit."
-
He laughed a little, smiling a bit more. "Well, at least you have/had grandparents." he said, opening the door to the cafeteria.
-
"Huh? What do you mean? You don't have any?" What Quincy said was a weird statement to come from anyone. She didn't think there was anyone without a family, even in the whole universe.
-
"I more or less came out of a laboratory. I mean, my original self probably had grandparents, but they're long dead by now. C'mon, dont want the hot chocolate to be gone when we get there." he said, motioning for her to walk through the open door.
-
"Definitely not." She steps through the doors and takes a big wiff of the chocolate. Her powerful nostrils smelled the drink quite strongly. "Smells great!"
-
"Thanks! I made it myself. C'mon." he says, stepping in after her and walking to a big thermos-like jug with a nozzle. He puts a mug under and and pours her a cup. "Here ya go." he says, holding it up to her.
-
"Thanks!" Falei says with a smile, taking the cup and taping another wiff. She then sips it, quite slowly. "Mmm, I haven't tasted hot chocolate like this in forever!"
-
"Thanks, its homemade." he says, happy to have made her happy.
-
"Awesome, homemade stuff is always the best." She takes another sip, obviously savoring the taste. It seemed she was remembering some distant things, perhaps memories of her and her family were coming back, as she held back a tear.
-
He noticed. "You ok?" he asked, his voice softer.
-
"Yeah...I'm fine. Just some little bits of memories, ya know." She wipes her eye and sighs.
-
He nods. "I know the feeling...I didn't have most of my memory until a few months ago..."
-
"That sounds like it hurts more than this...But it's good that you got them back. Sometimes pain is good, ya know?"
