*Eventually they reach a Belk, and Sapphire leads her inside, towards the girl's clothing section.*

She looks around at all the stuff, quite amazed at all the sights. She had never been anywhere like this before, as Kari would keep them hidden most of the time, and people would chase them away. She saw a large blue woolly sweater with a white snowflake on the center. She tugged Sapphire's arm and pointed at it.

[u]Oh, you want that?[/u] *She asked, waking over to it and taking it down for her.*

Mari smiles a little, admiring it.

[u]We'll still need to get you some pants and a couple other shirts as well. Do you see anything else you like?[/u]

She points to a pair of baggy grey sweatpants and a large cobalt beanie hat.

[u]Ooo, nice choices, you'll look very pretty in these. What else?[/u] *She asks, putting the clothes in a basket.*

She looks around, seeing a pair of bright red socks. She points at them, smiling.

*She chuckles a little.* [u]Alright, I'll get you some socks.[/u] *She says, putting them in the basket.*

Mari hugs her, murring happily.

[u]Aww, I'm glad you're happy![/u] *She says, patting Mari on the head.*

Mari purrs a little, or something like purring.

[u]You need more than just another set of clothes though...[/u] *She says, purring a little as well.* [i]Some time later.[/i] *Sapphire was at the cash register with Mari as the extremely confused looking teen rung up the clothes.*

Mari looked up at the teen, giving a little smile.

*He just looked confused and smiled back. He had heard there were animal people in the Dojo but had never seen one in person. He finished ringing up the items and Sapphire leaves with Mari, walking down the sidewalk with a couple bags.*

Mari sticks close to Sapphire, looking uneasy as they pass by others.

*Sapphire holds her close, trying to comfort her. Considering what she's just been through, she has good reason not to trust others.*

Mari stays close, her eyes darting around nervously.

[u]It's alright... Should I carry you?[/u]

She shakes her head no, only nervous. She didn't actually see anything threatening. After going through what she did, she was going to have issues.

[u]Okay... Well if you need anything just tug on my arm.[/u]

She nods, yawning subconsciously.

*Eventually they make it back to the apartment. Sapphire closes the door and turns back to Mari.* [u]Alright... How about you change into some of the new clothes I got you? That dress looks like it isn't in very good shape... I can have someone fix it up for you.[/u]

She looks down at the dress, shrugging.

*She kneels in front of Mari, holding out the bags.* [u]Just pick what you want to wear and you can change in my room... I'll take care of that dress... I think it's best that you still keep it.[/u]

She nods, understanding. In a few minutes, she comes out wearing the snowflake sweater and the sweatpants.
