The developers behind Viewtiful Joe, Ōkami, and the PS2 exclusive God Hand. I have heard that "Clover" was intended as an abbreviation of "Creativity Lover". Capcom was unimpressed by the sales of their games and planned to re-absorb them, so Clover employees instead left the company and formed PlatinumGames.
