[b]As soon as the ground troops had opened fire, a dozen gunships launched from either cruiser and their Mac Cannons bombed enemy lines.
The gunships dropped off behind Fortis' troops, tanks and troops poured out, providing reinforcements [/b]

"The writer thought it would be to easy."

"Well I can't argue with that. Now let's find a way to stop this wall from closing in." [b]Fortis said, using his legs to push the wall.[/b]

"Should I just teleport us?"

"If your writer is fine with it." [b]Fortis said, grunting from the strain of pushing back the wall. By now the sound of grinding gears could be heard.[/b]

[b]Royal opened a shadow portal, and walked into it. [/b]

[b]Fortis jumped in right before the walls smashed together.[/b]

[b]We ended up outside the wall, back and where we first met in the ship. [/b]

"Ok, that hallway is the only way to the reactor chamber. We could just blow up the hallway."

"How far is the reactor?"

"Just past that one hallway."

"Well I got this." [b]Royal pulled Fortis into the shadows, and we emerged outside the reactor chamber [/b]

"That was easier than I thought. Now, these things are pretty sturdy, so just hit it with everything you have." [b]Fortis launches hundreds of missiles before firing his rifle at the reactor.[/b]

[b]Royal hurls a fire ball at it [/b]

[b]The core starts glowing a bright yellow.[/b] "That is are due to leave. Let's get out of here!"

[b]Royal pulls Fortis into the shadows and we reform on his flagship [/b]

"That is quite a nifty trick." [b]The cruiser they were just on exploded, and dozens of fighters that were near it were also destroyed in the blast.[/b]

"A lucky one at that, we would have creamed in another few seconds. '

"And you know what else is lucky? That ship was their main one. The other ship's all rely on the main for commands. Now they should be quite easy to handle." [b]Surely enough, the enemy fighters were in disarray, and some even crashed into each other.[/b]

"Heheheh!#3#3#3#;';" [b]Royal burst into laughter, watching the havoc [/b]

"It is the things like this that make it all worth while." [b]A few of the fighters crash into the large cruisers, making giant gashes along them. Another cruiser explodes, probably because of a different boarding party.[/b]

"Damn we did good. So what's next? After this?"

"Hopefully there are no other idiots that try and attack us, so we can move onto the city in peace."

"Excellent! Let's get started shall we?"

"I'm down for that." [b]Fortis's fleet flies over the burning remains of what once was a grandiose fleet.[/b] [spoiler]End, I'll Continue in the next post.[/spoiler]
