Qualities of a shotgun?
I was fooling around in the crucible yesterday, and I got a matador. It had the exact same range but worse perks than my Party Crasher +1. What should I be looking for in a shotgun? I am a armor of light/supressor grenade ("fun-police") titan at heart and I have not been shotgunning for long. So what perks etc should I want?
(P.S. I hope to be a skillfull shotgunner if there is such a thing, and not a run-at-you-and-die shotgunner)

If you honestly like that play style, I suggest replenish. Its not a very popular perk but it can be useful. Cammy is great at showing its potential. Otherwise: rangefinder, aggressive ballistics, full auto, and reinforced/rifled barrel.

Matador. Rifled/Reinforced Barrel. Rangefinder.

Impact, range. Nothing else matters If you can find a matador w aggressive and rifled/reinforced it could have spray n play and damage close but would be top tier. Party crasher w aggressive and rifled/reins also works very well but you must have STORM grip melee to one shot supers reliably w pc

It's personal preference for the first and last perks but aggressive ballistics and rifled/reinforced barrel are a must.
