[u][i][b]Yay. A new person.[/b][/i][/u]
[i][b]Bar of Blades, 1200 hours[/b][/i]
[i]Mortar, after a very long and tiring day of training to fight, sits at the bar, looking at himself in his reflection. He never quite noticed his scars until now, no matter how minor they are. he sighs, and calls for a corpse kebab.
"We don't have em" the tender says
"I know you do" he replies.
he nods and he goes behind the bar to find some. After a moment a woman sits next to Mortar.
"Hello there" she says.
"Hey, uh... who are you?" he asks.
"I think you know me," she replies.
He takes a good look at her, looking through his memories, until he knows who it is.
"A... Amanda?"[/i]

(The figure silently appeared in a seat near them, inconspicuously, for reasons not exactly incomprehendable.)

*Mortar, a slightly uncomfortable expression on his face, turns towards the figure* Oh, hey

"I suppose it's not as bad if you know I'm listening. I've already bugged virtually everyone, including you, and I suppose listening personally is at least more social."

Mortar: Eh, I don't stay bugged at people for long, clouds my brain Amanda: And I just got here, so...

"Oh, I meant to other type of bugged."

*He raises a brow* You put something on me bud?

"Nothing personal. I have one on almost every high - intrest person in the dojo."

*Mortar sighs* Jeez, you need to respect people's privacy

"I take security as more important than privacy."

Well, can you tell everyone else you have one?

"Because that would unnerve them. There are only two people to date I have told this about, and you're one."

*Mortar nods* It would unnerve some people to know that you've been spying on them and you not telling them. I know at least 3 people who got pregnant

"Is it normal for you to completely ignore someone who you just had a reunion with after seven words and talk to someone else?"

*Mortar sighs* I know... It's just that I... I can't think of an excuse. *He turns towards Amanda, beginning a conversation with her*

(The figure nods)

Mortar: So, what are you doing here? Amanda: Well I knew you were here, so I decided to check to see if the rumors are here. Well that is a correct rumor

[i]in that back corner of the room sat lola she was chatting with a much taller woman who easily towered over a lot of the people in the there. Lola's companion had strawberry blonde hair, silvery sea blue eyes ,lightly tanned skin and covered in freckle. The pair don't notice him just yet.[/i]

*Mortar looks at them before looking back at Amanda* Mortar: A-Amanda... You're here? I thought you were dead.

[i]lola eventually notices mortar and waves at him. Her companion is confused by who she is waving at cause she doesn't recognize him at all.[/i]

*Mortar sees her out of the corner of his eye and waves back. He says something to Amanda, and sbe nods, and they both walk over, sitting across from them* Mortar: Hi Lola, who is this?
