[b]Royal emerged from the shadows some feet away from Templar. [/b]
"What?"

[b]The rocket hits the ship and it explodes.[/b] "How did you? Never mind. Those soldiers over there are behind some barrier. Could you teleport behind it and take them out?"

"Yee." [b]He steps into the shadows, Appearing behind one of the soldiers and plunging his sword into his back [/b]

[b]The sword passes right through the humanoid. Royal finally gets a good look at his foes. They look sort of like Fortis's soldiers, but they have bony and sharp structures that jut from their bodies around the shoulder and knee areas. Their skin is made of some sort of Chitin and Bone mixture. All the other hostiles behind the barrier turn on you, drawing their swords.[/b]

[b]Royal took a few steps back, raising his blade [/b]

[b]Two of the figures lunge at Royal with their swords, while the other two throw a black powder at Royal.[/b]

[b]Royal rolled to the side, as shadowy spikes erupted from the ground, plunging into the back of the two that threw stuff at him [/b]

[b]The two powder throwers disintegrate on contact, but the powder seems to track Royal, crawling up his leg like a swarm of insect. The remaining two soldiers both slice at Royal from different directions, making rolling to the side nearly impossible without getting hit.[/b]

[b]Royal forms a shadow barrier around himself, and as the swords connect with it the shadows explode outwards and suck the two soldiers into a separate reality. [/b] [b]He is then consumed in flames, hoping to destroy the darkness. [/b]

[b]The dust seems to feed off of the fire, growing quite hot. It now covers everywhere below Royal's waist.[/b]

"What the shit? ' [b]The flames die down and he blasts Holy light at it [/b]

[b]Fortis can be seen charging towards the barrier, obviously disturbed by whatever the dust was. The holy light seemed to do a little bit of damage to the dust, but it only slowed it's accent[/b]

[b]Royal fired darkness at it with his other hand, the combination of light and dark was deadly and extremely destructive [/b]

[b]The dust seemed to like the darkness, but the combination of both light and dark seemed to hurt it, or at least confuse it. By now Fortis had started pounding against the barrier.[/b]

[b]To make matters even worse, his legs caught fire once more as vines wrapped around his legs [/b]

[b]Fortis had finally broken through the barrier and stomped on Royal's foot.[/b] "Energy only makes it stronger! You have to crush or cut it."

"WELL THANKS FOR TELLING ME SEVEN REPLIES LATER!" [b]All the energy suddenly disappears and he punches himself in the leg [/b]

[spoiler]Kek[/spoiler] "The barrier blocks sound, and I... oh. Forgot about my wrist communicator... My bad. Now do me a favor and shield your upper body for a second."

[b]Fortis pulls out a large jackhammer thing and pulls the trigger. The large head of the jackhammer hits the front of Royals legs, but the head also twists around his legs and somehow manages to hit every cell on Royals lower body, effectively destroying the dust.[/b] "That should have reduced the dust into... dust."

"Yo. That was dope as shit."

"Yeah, now we had better head towards the reactor. It should only be about one hundred yards down this corridor." [b]Fortis reads down a door and runs inside.[/b]

[b]Royal followed behind him, a nine millimeter gum forming in his hand. [/b]

"It looks like nothing is wrong with this hallway. Just a bit narrow." [b]Once the two are about half way through, the light turn off.[/b] "I just had to say that, didn't I?" [b]Some viscous fluid start filling up the hall and all exits seal shut.[/b]

[b]Royal forms a ball of light in his hand, illuminating the room [/b] "Great."

"This fluid is bad news. Reminds me of the stuff Destanius was experimenting with. Well at least the walls are not slowly closing in on us." [b]There is a loud grinding sound and the walls start getting closer to each other.[/b] "Damn it."
