*spoilers in this post* I started falling apart when you first leave Hammerhead in the future before starting the final mission and see the cooking menu. With the music that's playing, and the view of the bros eating and talking and laughing, you realize that that will be the last night that they will share before they die... The entire last chapter of the game was incredibly emotional. It was intense to hear Talcott talking about how the world fell apart after Noctis was sucked into the crystal. He was explaining it so calmly but you could hear the pain in his voice. And seeing all of those monsters roaming the land as he drove you back to town. -blam!-ing well done Square. I haven't been this impressed by you in so long.
