What do the factions mean to me? Nothing. I feel like they are completely useless in the Destiny world. If I had to choose my favorite, I'd say New Monarchy because it's a philosophy of strength and unity. Why would you search for other planets to live on when you couldn't even manage the one you had? And what good is preparing for future war when you barely have anything to defend? Or next to no resources to fight these future wars with?
