I'm glad you enjoy the lore. I've read some of your other posts and they were good.
The factions don't mean much to me because they don't factor into the game at all. You only hear from them once each as you build a new character.
It's too bad because they could have factored into the game a lot more. I just don't think Bungie and their staff were creative enough to do it, story wise that is. The game is fun and creative.

They are in the lore but not an active part of the game. How cool would it be to match make pvp based on factions? Or fight a battle with arach jalal or whatever his name was calling the shots against the fallen?
