[b]One of the drones pucks something up, reporting back. Five Dead guards were found in a dead end cave [/b]

"Well, we found some of them." He shows Watcher the scans.

"At least we know they went to the caves. Want to go take a look?" Cannon asks, piloting the ship towards the cave entrance.

"Yeah, let's do that." [b]He looked back up, calming himself after the sight of the dead [/b]

Cannon seems unaffected by the sight as he loads his blaster rifle and moves to exit the ship.

[b]Watcher followed him to exit, holding his rifle up [/b]
-
He steps out, checking the area with a sweep of his gun before moving towards the cave entrance.

[b]Watcher was hot on his heels, covering their six [/b]

As soon as they're clear, the ship lifts back into the air and begins to circle the island. Cannon moves in on the entrance.

"We sure about this?" [b]Watcher stopped for a moment [/b]

"You want to find your missing man or not?" Cannon asks.

"Well yeah..." [b]He shifted uncomfortably [/b]

Cannon laughs. "You aren't wimping out on me, are you?"

"Oh no, of course not. But these guys took down an entire platoon.."

"But that platoon wasn't packing the firepower I have. We'll be fine. I can call in the dreadnouht if tbings go bad."

"Alright, here goes." [b]Watcher jogged into the cave, turning on a flashlight [/b]

Cannon follows, activating his helmet and gun mounted lights.

[b]As we walk through the cave, we walk past the three Guards that were propped up against the wall. Watcher mumbled a quick prayer before he continued deeper into the cave [/b] [spoiler]Potential Lives Saved: 38/43[/spoiler]

Cannon scans the bodies, attempting to discover the cause of death.

[b]Bullet holes. The first, two holes in the chest. The second, two wholes in the chest The third, a shot to the head [/b] "Whoever did this was good." [b]Watcher had stopped to await Canon [/b]

"Agreed. On the upside they seem to be using plain projectiles." He takes the guard's dogtags (assuming they have them) and continues into the cave.

[b]Watcher followed took point, leading into the dark cave. [/b] "Freaky...."

"I've seen worse." Cannon replies, keeping his weapon on swivel.
