The exodus didn't fail completely, Rasputin's strategy of spreading out is the only reason we have Awoken. Without the Awoken being able to intercept the Fallen and warning us of Oryx, the City would have fallen. It was the Dead Orbit fleet that told the Vanguard about the Cabel breaching the Dreadnaught. FWC says they're about getting ready for war, but it's the "cowardly scavengers" that put their neck out on the line to keep the fight from getting to Earth. Keep looking into your crystal ball all you want, I got patrols to do.

  • I've never been much for crystal gazing with the FWC, you'll find me mopping up leaks in the wall with the rest of us red coats. Make no mistake, I think that almost all the guardians have been pulling their weight, even those I don't agree with. The Queen's Awoken have been faithful allies. Right now though, they still depend on the Tower to keep them safe. Scouting and savaging for tech is good. Heck, it's essential. Monarchists like myself want to rebuild the golden age and keep the City safe so both those things need to be done. I would like to point out, when you scouts found the Dreadnought, you stayed and helped us fight. You didn't pack up your ships and run. Dead Orbit has been talking about getting the hell out of Dodge for ages and that was the perfect opportunity. While the Awoken, FWC, and NM kept it busy you could have made a clean break. Instead the valiant guardians of DO fought and defended, just like the other two factions said we should. On some level even you know we are right.
