Think we'll hear about Borderlands 3 this year?
Hey everyone,
Been seeing posts about up and coming games and I tell ya, I can't wait for the next borderland series to come out.
You think this year we'll find out something? I sure hope so! How great would it be if gearbox dropped a new Borderlands game?

I hope so... [spoiler]now I want to play borderlands... but I must finish FFXV first, because if I start a new character in BL2 I won't stop[/spoiler]

7 RepliesWell since Battleborn flopped due to Overwatch (it should go F2P) I think they may have to start releasing info on BL3

I'd say to let Gearbox take their time since Borderlands is probably the only good game they made, but seeing as they delayed duke Nukem forever, and since we all know how that atrocity came out... Well let's just say that I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to gearbox now....

Who knows? It's kind of a toss up of which 3 game we will hear from first; Half-Life, Kingdom Hearts, or Borderlands.

Yes, I think they will bring an update on the game (probably in a Inside Gearbox Panel) . They have to because of the flop of Battleborn.

I think we'll hear/ see something small. Sure, BL3 is a big recognizable title, but with what happened to Battleborn, they can't afford to be lacking in the marketing department. At all.

1 ReplyI'd say they might reveal something next year because currently they'll probably focus developing the game and might not have anything to show/announce. I for one hope they just show something since I love the borderlands games

2 RepliesGearbox just came off a year where they released a title that got absolutely [i]shunted[/i] by the market. I'd think they might lay low and focus on development this year. I might be skeptical of any game they release this year because it might be rushed out of the door to cover the gaping financial hole. [spoiler]Aliens Colonial Marines: GOTY edition?[/spoiler]
