I stick to the Future War Cult because I think the Darkness needs to be eradicated. However, I don't support setting up a monarchy like New Monarchy.
I also see Dead Orbit as kind of treasonous. I mean, if we leave Earth, we leave the very Traveler that created us guardians, and chose us to protect itself and use to fight the Darkness.

I agree with the new monarchy outlook, one ruler sounds bad and I that's just the start. But I don't know about dead orbit being treasonous. I mean I see your point, but also we don't know much about the traveler itself besides it gave us our ghosts. Maybe not leaving Earth but having a back up already secured wouldn't be such a terrible idea? I honestly choose both DO and FWC because I agree, we must fight the darkness not run, but it's always good to have a backup if need be.
