"Yeah, I just didn't expect someone to put a bounty on me."
-
"Not many people expect a bounty to put on them, so that is a logical train of thought."
-
"Yeah, I just wish it wasn't my friends who would collect it. Anyways, so what were you guys trying to do again?"
-
"I am trying to find a guy who can help us save the dojo, and possibly the entire galaxy."
-
"Oh yes, you told me that. Sorry, mind blanked out after getting shot. So, you got room for one more to help out?"
-
"I have more than enough room for one more, and was about to beg you to join if that answers your question."
-
"Sounds good. I'll make sure I have enough anmo to last. Also, thanks for having my back against those mercenaries."
-
"No problem. First things first, we have to scale a citadel and kill its extremely powerful king. Then, we have to torch the city. That sound alright?"
-
"I've got plenty of leftover incendiary bombs we can use. How big is the city though?"
-
"Bigger than the surface of a small moon. Once we destroy the citadel though, the rest should be mop up work. Why, you might ask? Truth is I honestly don't know the full answer, but the king controls everyone of his subjects telepathically. If we kill him, his soldiers will probably go insane."
-
"Got it. That telepathy control power is going to be the biggest problem. Most likely the king will just force everyone to fight. Emotion is going to be the king's best weapon."
-
"Indeed. But he doesn't know we are coming yet. If we kill him fast enough, he may not even have the time to tell his soldiers to fight."
-
"Do you have stealth tech for enough soldiers to use to reduce the chance of detection? If not, I can quickly design and code some stealth tech to cloak armor."
-
"I have a few. How many do you need?"
-
"Now, I have a plan. We split into two squads. Squad A and Squad B. Squad A will split up and start planting explosives on the outskirts of the city. They want to try and distance themselves from Squad B. Squad B uses the cloaking device to use the fastest route to the king. They kill the king. They escape. Squad A detonates the explosives and we light the city on fire."
-
"Sounds like a plan. You and I, plus a few of my commanders, will be on squad B. The rest of our team is in Squad A."
-
"Sounds good. So when will we attack?"
-
"As soon as you are ready."
-
"Well, I guess I'm ready. Iv'e got plenty of ammo so I should be fine."
-
"Let's do this!" Fortis crashed into a wall and shot some guards inside before pressing the up arrow on an elevator.
-
Rook starts loading a machine gun in replace of his shotgun while waiting.
-
The doors open and Fortis steps inside.
-
Rook steps inside the elevator. Crappy elevator music starts playing.
-
As the doors close the elevator music intensifies. After about thirty seconds, the elevator stops at the top floor. "We are here." The elevator door opens into a dismally lit hall way that had a few small door and one huge set. The large set was marvelously decorated with a mural of an epic battle. "Are you ready?"
-
"I'm ready. Ion, how long will the cloaking tech work for?" Cloaking tech should last for about an hour and fourty-two minutes. Ample amount of time. "Sounds good."
