I just played kings fall for the first time, absolutely loved it. It was super challenging especially sisters. And it's gear is also incredibly Badass looking. So why does a large majority of the community dislike it so much?

Still ballin on hoes with hand cannon
-
It is a fun raid with the most complex mechanics of the bunch, which in turn, makes it the most frustrating to do with a team that doesn't know what they are doing.
-
That's your opinion. Mine is that the armor sets are ugly, and most the guns (besides the MG, and a decently rolled pulse) are horrible and ugly as well. Not to mention trying to do it with people who don't know what they are doing makes it mind numbing.
-
I loved the raid and I disagree with you saying that most of the community hates it. When it was first released people were comparing it to VoG. The raid is fantastic and I would say that the loud minority dislike while the silent majority enjoyed it.
-
we had to play it for a year, the challenge for many was gone and yet it was the only end game activity we had.. It just got stale after a while.. similar thing is happening with WoTM.. its fun but, with 30+ completions it gets old
-
I know this is a pretty unpopular opinion but kings fall is my favorite raid because it was the first raid that I really put in time to get good at. Wrath of the Machine is my least favorite because it's too easy in my opinion. It allows for too many mistakes and feels too easy.
-
Hated it. Not because of the mechanics, but because I hate the hive/taken as an enemy. Shooting at zombie mutant space crabs to me, is wack as f@#$. I felt the same about the Crota raid. If they would have given Kings Fall a Fallen, Vex, or Cabal theme, I would have been all about it.
-
I don't think that people dislike King's Fall, I just think the majority of people have done that raid so much that it's old. Personally I love all the raids. Hope they bring VoG and CE back.
-
Loved kings fall personally.
-
Kings fall is very mechanic based. Because of this, after my first two runs it became extremely boring. Just my opinion though.
-
No one likes it because it took way too long and had several bugs which weren't admitted to by Bungie until way too late. These bugs cause us to spend way more time in there than was intended. When they fixed the buggy ogres we beat it no issue. Also, it had to be grinded endlessly for shitty weapons, shitty gear and crappy rng. Personally. I like it. I like all the raids aside from CROTA which was a disaster.

I have only completed KF three times. Each time I had a blast with friends. You can take the best raid with bad people and ruin it. It's all about who you're running with.
-
I absolutely hate the entire raid except last stand OST. Nobody has the ability to actually complete it.
-
I enjoyed it running it every week. It just got old to me
-
The worst raid hands down
-
I loved it
-
I loved it, i'm bummed that my old raid team cant be bothered to run one for old times sake - i have 105 completions as opposed to 17 on wrath of the machine. I had a great team and i think that helps a lot, we always did it on a timer, tried to beat our best time.
-
Screw it.

Edited by Casual: 1/18/2017 4:14:35 PMBecause it was all we had to do for a whole year. It was a great raid, well thought out with solid mechanics that made it difficult. But even the best raids can leave a sour taste after being overplayed.
-
I like it quite a bit. Once you understand the mechanics it's not difficult. It's also very unforgiving.
-
I would have liked it if my team didn't spend 10+ hours on the damn raid only to spend 4 hours on Oryx and my team gets too salty and leaves.
-
It was my least favorite raid for one reason only; taken. They suck.
-
Love KF myself. People tend to dislike things they can't complete wth ease. KF is very mechanic heavy, and on hard if someone dies, the remaining 5 really need to know how to adapt their roles, and fast, in order to avoid a wipe. Plus, Golg challenge, let's be honest is piss easy, yet so many people flounder, flounce and die on it. As an aside....funny checking grimoire cards for some of the posters in this thread. I'm not sure one can have an opinion on a raid if you've never run it....except on these forums....lol.....
-
I personally love it. I will never forget the joy of watching Oryx float away in space for the first time. Since I'm a year 2 player I never got to run VoG or CE when they first came out but I like KF much more than WoTM at least.
-
I love it. One of the more complete raids in destiny. VoG will always be my favorite Kings fall is best in terms of how the raid feels
-
If i had to rank the raids it'd probably go as follows. 1. Vault of glass My first raid ever. I don't think the feeling of completing it for the first time can be duplicated. It's a no brainer #1 in my opinion. 2. Wrath of the machine Just really started running wotm after hooking up with a good crew. Love the gear from it almost as much as vog...almost. Really fun. 3. Crota Good raid from front to back. Only reason its #3 is from the "kicked for no g-horn" epidemic that run rampant with this raid. 4. Kings fall My least favorite. Not because it isn't fun or challenging. Just so many futile attempts with horrible team members, so many trys ended in rage quits and shit talking (by everyone) that i just gave up and stopped tryin.
