I just played kings fall for the first time, absolutely loved it. It was super challenging especially sisters. And it's gear is also incredibly Badass looking. So why does a large majority of the community dislike it so much?

So many glitches. Much to complicated and to much trouble to teach it to someone. No reason to do it more than once or twice. Just not fun. Repetitive.
-
you should have seen the forums back then people crying for a nerf on the raid cause oryx was too hard😂😂😂 good times when only og's had the hard oryx emblem. wotm is to easy beat it in my first sitting
-
The biggest issues players had were, 1. Glitches or lag. You could spend 40 minutes getting to oryx and then 2 hours finishing one checkpoint. 2. Less skilled players were less able yo hide and had to actually at least carry themselves.

It's my fav

Oryx was way to heavy on mechanics, one weak link and its constant wipes. During one raid at oryx we had a full fire team, one guy kept screwing up ( probably never done the raid and had no mic or just didn't talk) and I mean we have him a chance. So about 20 wipes later he either left/got kicked or disconnected as we started the run. That same run we completed oryx with challenge with only a 5 man fire team. When something requires you to complete with everyone pulling their weight it becomes a nightmare especially with lfg. People that had their own group would have way less issues. So to me kings fall I found fun for about 3-5 runs then it became a chore.

Most hated raid. Just don't like it. Still a good one, just don't like it as much as the other ones.
-
To many god damn time based mechanics.

I like all the raids except vault of glass - in my opinion it was too difficult- the oracles and Templar- jumping puzzle - and last part with teleporting and killing more oracles- even now it's not easy to do (in my opinion) I like crota because it's fast paced I like kings fall but felt last battle was almost to hard (in relation to team work and mechanics) Hate too sound lazy : I want raid to be challenging and fun but gets easier more you do it - but last part always felt complicated I'm digging wrath of machine- this last month I've hit it hard and feel great about mechanics - maybe for some it's too short or simple- idk for me it's just right - and I love the gear and weapons

I have a bit of a love/hate feel towards King's Fall. The most irritating thing about that raid is how heavy it is on mechanics. There's very few moments where you could make a mistake and afford having a guardian or two down and have teammates pick up the slack. The Oryx fight itself is very lacklustre to me. Everything else from the music to the visual aspects was quality, but the entire battle just felt like a chore more than a battle against a powerful King. Between him and Crota, it felt more rewarding killing Crota.

Love it

It was legit
-
Damn it... Now i want to run it again lol
-
Hated it, but the end boss aesthetically and area wise was great. I loved seeing oryx float into Saturn.
-
I think kingsfall is the best raid bungie made. I think wrath of the machine is just a rush job, crota is way to short and vault of glass is ok but the beginning is a little drawn out
-
Only hated fighting Oryx bc it was way too mechanical. Loved everything else about the raid though.

Never did a raid 😊 Did VoG just once, I think the squeak team traumatized me 🤤 -
hated it , i only got 2 completions ( had lots of failed attempts ) but i got all the harrowed weapons in 2 completions, i only wanted a smite with firefly, but got the full harrowed set i got my tom and did all challenge modes too reasons for the hate of this raid....to much jumping puzzles!!!

I wasn't a major Raid guy in TTK. I wish I could've gotten some of the armor.
-
I liked it, people will always either love it or hate it.
-
Love it. It was just an amazing experience overall imo. Also the soundtrack was -blam!-ing incredible.
-
Eh. It's pretty meh. A solid 5/8...
-
Now I love it, when I first played it I hated it. Actually nostalgic of early taken king
-
I hated it. The mechanics were cool but we would get stuck on Golgoroth every. Fricking. Time. Also I got really bored of the hive theme. Guess that's one thing that put Gave Roi a point.
-
But here's my next question, what makes WOtM so much more fun? I see a ton of people looking for members or groups on that raid. I haven't played it yet since I'm not a high enough light level. But is it the best raid? Or like second best? I think my favorite raid has always been VoG. Fatebringer was so prevalent for so long.
-
I liked it up until a point. Plus the rewards kinda sucked. When we had the vault the rewards were really top tier even though they dropped at a goofy light level at first . Same with Croata awesome guns . You could run the kings fall raid spend hours and get shit . I'm taking to you kf hand canon .

Better than Wrath of the Machines
