I personally enjoy it. Compared to other raids, it's a technical masterpiece. The only issue with it is that once you learn the mechanics, there's very little you can do to spice up the run, make it interesting. That's why Challenge Modes were implemented, because the raid was essentially a straight road. You do all the mechanics, you beat the raid. There were no curveballs like PoE with elemental burns or different modifiers, or VoG with a ton of enemies to keep you on your feet.
That's why people like WoTM and VoG so much. It has the proper blend of objective-based mechanics while also using enemies in various ways to constantly change up the run, making each experience feel a little more interesting than the last. With WoTM having Challenge Modes, this only got better. Should Bungie ever decide to remaster the old raids, please implement Challenge Modes. I want something different, not the same strats that I used pre-Year 2 to beat them.
