Solution: Permissions Connection Issue for Play Station

I've recently had the following issue on the Play Station: Your permissions to access online multiplayer gameplay may have changed or your profile may have been signed in elsewhere As I've seen several threads regarding this, I wanted to let everyone know what I believe the solution to the issue is. The following steps should solve the issue if you are using a Play Station: 1. Locate all play stations (PS3, PS4, Vita, etc) in your house. 2. Shut them all off. 3. Turn on only your PS4 and log into Destiny and select your character. Why this works: Either PS appears to have modified accounts so if they are logged into multiple DEVICES, they won't be playable online or the most recent update to Destiny is causing an issue with the same PS accounts on multiple devices. This includes an PS3's that kids may be logged into or any Play Stations where friends may be using your account. My guess is people were sharing accounts to allow others to download games - it's the only reason I can think of why it may have changed. To fix this permanently, a separate account will need to be created for each play station. Alternatively, once you are logged into Destiny, the other play stations can be turned on to use Netflix or any game on the PS3 but Destiny won't work on another PS4. Based on the feedback below, it may be an issue with Destiny and Bungie is looking into the cause. This should only impact Destiny and other online games should work normally. This issue is occurring with the PS4 as well as the XBox One. It can occur even if you own only one console. For example, you do not have to have an XBox One and an XBox 360, or a PS4 and a PS3. It only occurs while playing Destiny. It is not an XBox Live or Playstation Network issue. It's not a console issue and there is nothing one can do to prevent it from occurring. It has nothing to do with ones Internet Service Provider or connection to them. It's not a Router/Modem issue. Hence, rebooting your Router for example is unnecessary and, in this case, does nothing. Simply exit Destiny and re-start. If it works, great. If not, exit Destiny once more and try again later. It is an issue Bungie is certainly aware of and likely working to fix. Until then there is nothing the end user can do.
