Sword in Stone
A storm raged throughout the Land, thunder flashing through the sky.
This storm did not feel natural, there was a certain air to it. A dark one
A bolt of lightning struck the main courtyard, leaving a sword stabbed into The ground in front of the cherry blossom tree.
The storm vanished suddenly, and after a few moments a small crowd of guards had gathered around the sword, Royal at head.
"Behold! The great sword Exaclibur!"
Open!
"That's upsetting, I was planning on challenging whoever was for the blade."
-
"Why challenge the one found worthy? '
-
"My blade is tainted with the blood of a truly divine being, an angel. I don't like carrying that kind of baggage, plus that sword looks bad ass."
-
"But, if the sword has not found you worthy already, why would it find you worthy if you defeat it's master?"
-
"I was planning on crossing that bridge when I got to it. Maybe it's like being grandfathered in."
-
"Perhaps. We may never know now." Royal looked at the sword rather sadly
-
"It'd be a shame to see a blade like that remain trapped for the rest of time." Dal began to feel sad himself.
-
Royal thought about the Legends behind the sword. What it had done "Perhaps it won't be. Perhaps one day, someone will be worthy
-
"If it leaves its stone prison I promise you I will feel its hilt one way or another." Dal stood with a look of determination.
-
"Well of course you will, you can always hold the hilt." He wraps his hand around the hilt once more "See?"
-
"Very funny, but to clarify I will wield it, and that's a fact."
-
"Then i live to see the day..." He laughed slightly
-
Dal returned to the stone after the buzz had died down, but Roy remained by the rock. "I'm guessing nobody who's worthy has come by?"
-
"Actually, this prospect seems interesting...." An older gentleman with blue robes was pulling the sword
-
"Yeah, anyone could have a heart worthy enough." He points at the elderly man. "Even him."
-
The man drew the sword from the sword and Royal gaped as he did so.
-
"I'm sorry Roy." Dal immediately jumped on the old man knocking his hood off and the sword from his hands.
-
Yee, sorry you can't exactly do that since the old man is someone elses character. That would be considered what we call "Plot Jacking" Where someone interferes with the plot
-
Oh, it appears I still have much to learn. Below will be a rewrite.
"You've got to be kidding me… that old geezer was worthy?"
-
No one knows everything there is no know about RPing their first few times. You'll learn.
"That's King Falk of the Twilight.... And he's not that old..."
-
"Young enough to duel me for that beautiful blade?" Dal grew excited.
-
"Perhaps? You must ask him yourself..."
If you want to duel Falk then you should make a post where Dal calls for him.
Edited by Obi-Emp Kenobi: 1/22/2017 10:29:11 PMTHE ONE AND ONLY SERIOUS FUСKING SAMUEL HIMSELF, approached the sword and stone. "Like...from the fairy tail? I call dibs."
I'll give context on who the hell he is later.
-
"You can't call dibs on a sword that chooses you based on whether you are worthy or not."
