"The eyes of the divine? Devil's bane? This doesn't make sense. Surely the Deserted had some form of...someone had to be watching that group."

Qurvak would attempt to explain everything. "Avon created us, the Deserted, and as thus he would be somewhat our supervisor. As we lacked the constraints of angels we were more dangerous than to the Devils and Demons the Divine faced, Divine being angels and other holy beings. Avon detested being an angel but he had no way of escaping his torment. He soon realized that Satan could release him from his morale restraints in return Avon would have to turn The Deserted of to Satan. Dalkroth, being the most powerful of us was able to enter the realm of evil with ease. He caught wind of Avon's plan, but before he could reveal the truth Avon attacked us. He could not harm us, but he could take our lives as he created us. Dalkroth was to keen and cut Avon down, but this would not go without a cost, he along with me and his other sworn followers we banished to the mortal realm." It was a lot to process for both Royal and Dalkroth.
-
"Avon? That's impossible, he was one of the top generals in the armyand fiercely loyal during the beginning of his career."
-
Dalkroth was slowly beginning to remember even more and spoke next. "That's exactly why he grew so bitter after his glorious days had passed and the Deserted were the main people seeing battle he did not receive the praise he believed he deserved. I was praised for my prowess in battle while Avon, despite being my creator, was simply ignored. Our successes were our own but our failures were pinned on Avon."
-
Royal sat back in his chair, stunned
-
"The fact that Angels are capable by petty emotions like jealousy put into question what Divine's were truly pure. But where me and Dalkroth are at now we can't really change anything now."
-
"And were exactly are the two of you right now?"
-
Dal lets out a sigh. "Stuck here, in the mortal realm. Because we are banished we have no way to return, at least no way I can remember?" Qurvak chimed in. "I didn't suffer a severe loss of memory, but I know of no way either."
-
"And where exactly do you plan on going? Heaven?"
-
"If we had the means… yes. But if there is no way we can warn the other divines or sway their opinion, I would not object to living among the mortals." He seemed somewhat sad but at the same time there was an air of hopefulness.
-
'Well why didn't you say so? I'll call Cadmael, who im sure you know. He was one of you for a bit
-
"Ah I recall him now, I could never understand how he could give up the power we have. Granted mine is much higher than most of my kind."
-
"Because i asked him to. As his father." Royal got off the chair, and stretched slightly
-
"Avon was the closest thing I had to a father, but I knew he was not the being that created me, he had devolved, he became corrupt and needed to be cleansed." Dal hailed the barkeep and ordered drinks.
-
"Prepare thyself. A reckoning is coming." The ground shook, and the door to the tavern was opened as Cadmael entered, clad in pure white armor fit for an angel.
-
Dalkroth knew not what he had to prepare for, but his battle instincts kicked in and he flipped the table and drew his sword. "I don't wish to harm anyone here, but will defend myself." He hoped that there would be no bloodshed here. Frankly he knew not what was going on.
-
"Not that kind of preparation..." Royal sighed as Cadmael stalked over to the trio. All three suddenly felt a pure energy course through them

-
"Perhaps you should consider what you say..." "Shut up Cad. Just tell us what we need to know." Roy and Cad took seat across from Dal and Qar "Perhaps. it is possible to take them back."

-
"Avon was a rogue, and you put him down. A service is what it should be called. Forgiveness? Will not come easily, but will surely arrive"
-
"I'm willing to try anything to reclaim my place in the heavens, just say the word and I'll follow."
-
"See? Good little angel." The world fell away room the four, and now it was pure white
-
"If we weren't in heaven right now, I'd kick ur ass for that. But I'll let it slide." This place was quite familiar to Dal, but he still felt uneasy being there now.
-
"Quite the temper. Here is what you must do. We will return the sense of morals to you, and see how long you survive with them."
-
"Fine. But remember not too long ago I was your superior… so take it easy."
