Amber alert is not available with this case.  **MISSING /ENDANGERED** 29-year-old Monica Lamping was last heard from around midnight on January 22, 2017. Monica was on a blind date that night with a man named Chad while her best friend watched her kids. She picked the kids back up around 5:30 p.m. and said something about car trouble and Chad could fix it. She owns a green 2002 Jeep Cherokee bearing VA tag# XPU-6357 . She was last known to be travelling with her children, Oria and Kai ages 7mos and 9-years-old. Her house caught fire early Sunday morning. Monica's plates were captured on 264W downtown tunnel #Portsmouth cameras 2 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22.  Monica was last seen wearing a white fleece jacket and dark pink moccasin shoes. Oria had on white and pink onesie pajamas. It is not known what Kai was wearing. Due to the fact that an extended period of time has elapsed since there has been any contact with Monica, this is now being considered as a Missing/Endangered Persons case under suspicious circumstances. This case is under investigation by the Virginia Beach Police Departments Missing Persons Unit, who has been working with the family to help locate Monica and her children.
