She severs the tendons that control his thumb, so he literally cannot grab her with that hand, and she kicks free, and starts running. She starts crying and gasping and coughing as she does

It misses the back of the head, hitting her in the neck Miracuously, it misses her spine, windpipe, and jugular, but she starts having trouble breathing regardless It was Jared "WHAT THE -blam!- ARE YOU DOING? WHY?"
