He was cloaked, but it was obvious he wasn't human from the way his helmet sat on his head, and the way he stood on his feet in his boots

*Merrick slowly looked toward his Bastion, before looking away from it.* "So what are you? Some type of old battle droid who didn't make the cut?" He asked, ready to smoke him should he have to.

"I am the beginning for others, others their end. I am Alpha, and Omega." he raised his pistol "Unfortunately for you, Kill or be Killed doesn't always work here"

"Well then maybe you should've picked a different target..." he replied, throwing down a smoke grenade and began to run.

He flicked on his thermal sights and fired at the backs of the guy's legs

*Taking out one of his legs, he stumbled and tripped, pulling out his Bastion, putting it to pistol form and begins to wait for the non-human's possible approach.*

A few fireballs coelesced and formed not too far from him, and the creature approached "Gonna give up?"

"Well, I was trying to get away from you. So...you know what...I give." He replies, his hands up in surrender.
