Me and guy got into an argument over how K/D is found and such. Mainly the argument was over if you had to add a 0.00 K/D (because i was sending a message and then kicked from a game)
i was saying you had to put in the 0.00 in to find the average K/D and he said ya dont because "no kills or deaths were added so the K/D wont change"
So can someone tell me how the average K/D system works in destiny please?

Edited by PyroAJM: 1/25/2017 12:51:53 PMIt's kills per match divided by deaths per match. If you don't die, it's the same as dying once since you can't divide by zero so 5 kills and 0 deaths would give you 5/1 for a K/D of 5. I don't think I've ever had a game where I died but had zero kills, but I assume it works the other way too, where say you had 0 kills and 5 deaths, it would calculate it as 1/5 and give you a .2 K/D. I'm not sure, but zero kills and zero deaths would most likely give a 0 K/D and not be counted in overall calculations. Edit: As RhinoDon pointed out, giving you a >0 K/D for 0 kills and multiple deaths doesn't make sense, so you get 0.0 in that case.
