Poorly because shortly after they started talking they had to trash the story and start over. I'm pretty sure the hype machine for their halo games went on longer than 3 months before each release.
Their marketing team has probably changed a few times, so the strategy is probably different now.

Yea Harold Ryan was fired a year after Destiny was released lol that's why I said you must be new here. I wasn't trying to be condescending. I just thought you didn't keep up with the hype train.
