[i]"A Super Soldier, and a Samurai"[/i]

A few hours passed, not much happening, until out of nowhere a lightning bolt struck the ground. It was random, unpredictable, what made it weirder was that it was a single bolt, and the portal that opened briefly.
On the other side, stood an armored figure, clearly taller than her, armed with a rifle and a pistol. The figure stepped forth then, stepping over the bottom lip of the portal and into the area.
It was hard to tell, but the armored person seemed to be a woman, given the all too familiar hip swish and the feminine outline, all the way to how she put her hands on her hips, jutting out a curvy hip as she leaned to a side.
It was silent then, the portal closing abruptly, sending the area back into its normal quiet aroma. The woman's armor was grey, a dull military color, with a cobalt blue visor. Silence went on a bit more, then she spoke, sounding young, overly confident or sarcastic, and Irish.[/b]
"So, um.
Hi!-"
[b]She waved, a weird thing to see from an armored figure.[/b]
"Yeah, I know, flashy entrance and all, but uh, formalities?
My name is Amanda, and I come in peace and all that"
[b]She made a hang sign, a split down the middle between her middle and ring fingers, keeping the two paired to the pinky and index fingers.[/b]
"So, eh, what happens now...?"

"Madam? Nah, I ain't no fancy woman. Just an Irish girl, jacked with super soldier secrets, and then given weapons and armor. Besides, I always believe the weaker guy should hit first."

[b]She reacted faster than humanely possible, snapping around with a right hook that snapped his head to the side. From there, she slammed her left fist into his gut, then drove an elbow up into his jaw.[/b]

*he coughs up a small bit of blood before taking a swing with his sword*

[b]She pulled a weird move then, the blade skimming off of her gauntlet, basically missing her. She retaliated again, kicking his chest, sending him backwards as a faint whine was heard. Looking up, she had launched herself over the wall of the city, landing inside of its limits, in a destroyed and crumbling section of the area.[/b]

God...damnit, where the hell is she?

[b]The area went dead quiet, an eerie sound, he would have to jump the wall and find out.[/b]

[b]Once at the top, the area in question was an assortment of old houses and buildings, all in different forms disrepair. Before he could climb down though, a blue lance of energy shot out, latching onto his leg like a hook, and then he felt it get yanked out from under him, pulling him off the wall and into the destroyed area.[/b]
