im trying to phrase this in an un-antagonizing manner, but i dont think i can so just take this preface instead. sorry dude but all i can gleam from your post is "waah i didnt get as good a chance as i thought i could because he didnt do this one arbitrary thing!" so let me break down my rational: "they would cut sponsorship" ok so this might just be me, but i dont recall ever seeing anything about how community events like these are official sponsorship ans what-not. i thought they were just bungo going 'hey guyz we gun do dis u down?' and the spotlighted players would be all like 'ye im down!' pro-bono comes to mind. thats assuming there isnt any actual official contract. but if there is, then he'll basically be reprimanded by bungie and that'll be the end of it. "he's the only streamer the entire event that hasn't done a countdown" appeal to tradition fallacy. thats pretty much all that needs to be said about that. [not only did he refuse, he called his fans "crybabies" "meanies" "bullies" "trolls" while also telling them to "get over it" "have fun" "shut up" "do something else"] so why dont they take his suggestion? i mean, they knew he was hosting the thing, so in that sense they came for him, so why are they complaining about the house rules when they're guests? get over it or just leave, anything else and yeah, your basically being what he said. like, do you go to burger king and demand a taco? if you dont get what you want then leave, dont start throwing a female-dog fit. "i don't care either way, i want the emblem, i'm maxed grimoire, and don't care who i earn it from, but..." the crux of your post, really. all you wanted was the emblem, you didnt get it, but you think you have a shot against the guy you project your own feelings about on.

Goth can be a dick, so what? He was shaking things up, maybe even giving a better chance to the kids who aren't glued to Twitch to participate. I'm not sure what the "twitch chat" culture is, but lets be real, it was probably toxic to begin with. Especially if this was the influx from Bungie's twitch chat. From what I remember, he doesn't put up with anything he dislikes in his chat. Ever. If you don't like it, too bad.

Honestly I wish everyone did what he did, it makes the entire thing more random and increases chances for people who aren't even watching the stream.

Bungie didn't say he needed to, that was a courtesy given by the other streamers in the past, which again have the chat and stream snipers a large advantage. To that end, I suggest you relax and enjoy the game, don't take it so seriously, and to get over yourself. Yesterday was only a "travesty" because you made it to be one, instead of enjoying the community event. This says a lot about an individual. And I'm sure he bitched about it, because quite frankly, it's a disgrace that the community went up in arms once he said he would not be doing a countdown and continued to moan and complain because they didn't get their way (your post is one fine example too).

Who is this person ?. I have watched probably an hour of streaming in my life. It's tedious, the Streamers only seem to have a limited vocabulary of swear words, they shriek, shout and spend more time doing nothing than playing. Apparently some people admire them and look up to them.. I simply don't get it. I play the game. I don't need to see someone else playing it.

I couldn't watch even 5 min of Goth. He is clearly a douche and his annoying mess is only matched by broman. I even stopped watching Kraftyy because he plays with Goth. THATS how bad Goth is.

Goth is a complete douche . I honestly don't understand how people like that guy . He's gives me a child molester vibe .. I couldn't bear to watch the stream any longer after watching how he acted when asked to do a countdown . Then if course his cheerleader fan club all tried to back him up when he was being a complete dick.. whatever tho . Just my opinion
