Obviously, people have been upset about it. It doesn't matter the reason, this streamer was purposely being a jerk to people. Different people enjoy different things. Just because someone would be made happy due to getting an emblem, doesn't mean they're an entitled prick. It means that they find enjoyment from something simple that you don't.
