im trying to phrase this in an un-antagonizing manner, but i dont think i can so just take this preface instead. sorry dude but all i can gleam from your post is "waah i didnt get as good a chance as i thought i could because he didnt do this one arbitrary thing!" so let me break down my rational: "they would cut sponsorship" ok so this might just be me, but i dont recall ever seeing anything about how community events like these are official sponsorship ans what-not. i thought they were just bungo going 'hey guyz we gun do dis u down?' and the spotlighted players would be all like 'ye im down!' pro-bono comes to mind. thats assuming there isnt any actual official contract. but if there is, then he'll basically be reprimanded by bungie and that'll be the end of it. [not only did he refuse, he called his fans "crybabies" "meanies" "bullies" "trolls" while also telling them to "get over it" "have fun" "shut up" "do something else"] so why dont they take his suggestion? i mean, they knew he was hosting the thing, so in that sense they came for him, so why are they complaining about the house rules when they're guests? get over it or just leave, anything else and yeah, your basically being what he said. like, do you go to burger king and demand a taco? if you dont get what you want then leave, dont start throwing a female-dog fit.
