So, people pay and watch because they consider it to be professional entertainment by an individual, or a team of people, that do it exceptionally well above what an average person or team could do? Somehow that's hard for me to believe or grasp. I don't know a lot of people who could be like Aaron Rodgers, I don't know a lot of people that could be a Robert De Niro, but I however feel that any person I know could host a decent Twitch stream lol In fact, most streamers seem to be just very average people, and the whole streaming thing just comes off as modern day panhandling to most people. Here's a few questions I have for you if you'd be kind enough to entertain them, if the streamer charged you flat out each time to watch his/her stream before you could view it would you pay? If the answer is no, doesn't that say something about what you think of the value of entertainment they provide? Also, if I find a person I hang out with in real life entertaining should I donate to them to keep me laughing when we hang out? Should I pay them to watch them play video games at my house, or pay them to talk to me on IMs? Do I just give money to everyone I find entertaining? Seems odd and foolish to me, but that's just me. What do you think? If that's your form of top notch entertainment though that's fine, and anyone can spend their money as they please...
