The morning war
It was around 0730, when the first two Mig 35s flew through the sky, they were at supersonic speeds, moving quickly through the air. They were painted black with red trim, and the had a foreign nation of origin painted on the sides and wings. They were also combat loaded. The two Migs approached the power plants that supplied power to the energy intensive MAC guns that provided the planet with defense. They launched missiles and bombs, dropping their payload and penetrating the energy shielding that had been in place to prevent this sort of strike from occurring. The two jets, seeing that their strike succeeded, RTBed and made way for the follow on strikes. Next came the fighter bombers, A-10s and SU-25s conducted bombing runs of defensive positions and the barracks of the local defense forces. Next to get hit were the comms stations and towers, anything they thought could broadcast a signal, was leveled and destroyed.
It was at this point the ground forces began to deploy, infantry supporting tanks and armored vehicles, artillery, helicopters, these unknown attackers had it all. From the sea came a fleet of 12 warships, one battleship, two destroyers, three cruisers and six frigates. They protected four landing ships that began to send out their landing craft and APCs.
The attack achieved surprise, there was nothing the denizens of the dojo could do to change that, but they still had the ability to fight back, but they would need to rally, the enemy had the momentum, and they planed to use it.
open, part one of many more to come

thats because with that we had a destined goal. Not straight violence haha
-
Well you wanted more fights.
-
Yep. But without context of the fight, One wouldn't know how to respond. I'm trying to pick this thing back up with jenny and Pavel right now.
-
Well nobody is responding much. I'm not since my characters have zero reason to defend or attack.
-
ya... :/ I'm having a blast with em so far though.
-
that's good. Though in the end the Dojo is just gonna get rebuilt like every other time lmao
-
Id like other RP's to be invaded. The dojo is the only real specimen of invasion I've seen. I'll likely make a post of Tesuto making repairs after this is over.
-
Eh. Well most RPs are usually stuck in their own shit it's almost pointless to invade. Or you have cases like RoB where the invading force will get BTFO by just one faction out of many.
-
ya. So that's why I feel like it's a little unfair to only bash the dojo in terms of our strong faction. As well as criticize us when people invade...
-
well I mean the Dojo is the only place where anything can happen without most limitations. But the criticism is sometimes needed. It certainly helped me. But I am kind of biased about this. I do indeed an infinite fleet and human hamster wheel energy is both kind of bullshitty and sinister.

Well you wanted more fights.
-
i expect the replies to taper as I win, as I do have the momentum, as to the op characters, they'll show up, I'll be around for a bit, make a few craters and then you guys will probably drive these guys off
-
cool man cool. Though I wish there was more context for the fight... Like, someone assassinated a high ranking officer of your fleet or something. That would be dope.
-
no one has bothered to ask, I have a few reasons prepared, one of which I have hinted at in our conversation, and realize I'm just trying to shake things up, not actually drive the RP apart like the other invasions
-
Edited by Inflatablepants: 2/3/2017 1:26:03 AM
and that's really cool of you actually. If anyone is gunna invade us! I'm glad it's you! Huzzah!

if you keep this going till tomorrow afternoon I'll hop in
-
I'll try, but without saying anything too much, kinda a glass cannon army
-
The Mac cannons began to go pew pew!
As you can see, I am way to tired to participate lol. Don't break the place too much.
-
not trying to destroy much, plan to occupy it, but the stiffer the resistance the more damage I do
The macs do nothing for lack of power
-
Occupy.... Haha... Right.
There was a loud boom as something entered atmosphere, followed by another loud boom as the small ship slowed. By the looks of it, it was a Jumpship. With its near-all bronze colored coating, one would assume it was the Fangs of Nyx. It tilted to its side and curved around the battlefields in a wide arc, the pilot scanning the area as the weapon systems started up.

Two SU-33s broke off from their formation and moved to intercept, as they had no idea who or what this was they refrained from firing.
-
Q noticed the two moving to intercept (can i get a general direction please? Like from the front, back, left, right, etc) and kept his flight path steady, ready to break into a jagged pattern of ups and downs. He flew low as to confuse tracking, buzzing over the side of the ocean where the naval ships weren't.
-
They approached from his 3 o'clock, they were getting a lock any second, their electronic support awacs enabling greater missile tracking. They again held fire, broadcasting what could only be a warning in their language, becoming more and more stern.
-
If they had a visual screen for text-based messages, they would have received a crap ton of thumbs down emojis. Anyway, there was no audio response. Just before they managed to get a lock, the ship rapidly began climbing, and flying straight for the two (insert name of plane because i forgot what it was and im using laptop so the thing that sends me to the most recent reply is a different page).
-
They broke formation and split up, tacking up new courses to hit him from his sides again. As he hadn't fired yet they held fire with missiles, they still had tone however.
