The message, being intercepted, served as a warning to the invading fleet.
More of the rupture bombs where primed and readied on dropships, fighters being assembled and the massive RFS Valhalla prepping its two Super MACs, both capable of firing three successive rounds.

Two dojo cruisers started towards the planet, then four, then 12. A dozen cruisers on there way, for the most part coming from different angles to insure that the rapture bombs could not take all the ships in one go
-
The unknown fleet scattered, leaving the returning Dojo ships to try and locate them. The four frigates prepped their own Super MACs, more ordinary designs, one shot per charge. The invading fleet disappeared, preparing to launch an outgunned war using guerilla tactics.
-
Boom. Boom. Boom. Another dozen entered, the planet now slightly more watched over. The first of the cruisers moved forward, entering the dark
-
It found nothing, only to be met with a second Rupture bomb, which detonated near the middle of the ship, engulfing and splitting off the ends of it as the middle section was lost to an unknown location.
-
"Where the hell did that come from?!" "We believe it came from... From the darkness." "Open fire. Do what you can." Three dojo cruisers fired into the darkness, hoping to get a few lucky shots off presumably
-
During the ensuing chaos, three of the four frigates fired their Super MAC payload, hidden at a safe distance before making the same odd jump as has been used. The three shells slammed into different sections of three random Dojo cruisers. The first one impacting dead center, making the ship groan and nearly cave in half as it went tumbling and rolling in space, venting its atmosphere and killing some of the crew. The second impacted towards the front end of the ship, searing off the front and causing it too come to a sudden halt from the immediate loss of atmosphere, sending anything inside tumbling and crashing to the decks. The third followed the same course as the first, although impacting a bit to the rear, causing the ship to begin doing wide spiral arcs and send it tumbling as well.
-
This was exactly what was needed. One of the cruisers had followed the trajectory of the shots, and a single round fired off, hitting one of the frigates and tearing into it. A second shot, then a third rang out, each meeting it's mark and effectively disabled the ship A fifth cruiser fired off a few rounds, following the trajectory of a second frigate
-
Unknown whether or not the attacks where successful, the frigate targeted managed to escape in its worm hole like FTL field, disappearing and relocating at an unknown position. The other two had followed suit, as the rounds fired struck nothing.
-
With one down, but still unknown to the Dojo, the cruisers did what they could to pull out, though one was completely immobilized and the other seemed stuck Another ship started into the dark, the cruisers looking for a lock on
-
The space around the planet was quiet, the unknown faction was surely using something never seen before; randomized attacks and powerful hit and runs. It was the work of guerilla warfare taken to the extreme. Small fighter ships warped around the planet then, stealth drives on them kept them hidden, direct line of sight being needed to actually spot them. They unloaded their own satellites and scanning systems, making sure the space around the planet wad clear of any other defending ships.
-
It most certainly wasn't, out of the nineteen still in commission, Seven of them were watching towards space to insure they wouldn't get attacked by reinforcements. The other twelve were focused on the frigates. And then, boom, boom. Two more cruisers entered the fray, also taking defensive positions
-
The silence continued, the eerie way the invading fleet had vanished caused unrest among the crew of the fleets. The frigate that had been hit had returned to the invading faction's planet, undergoing repairs as it would soon return. The other ships waited, the Valhalla still unseen in the battle.
-
Out of the dozen originally focused on the frigates, Eight turned back to defend as more dojo cruisers entered the fray. One seems to rule above the rest, an Imperial Planet Destroyer, the ship absolutely huge with an unknown armour as it's hull The beast patrolling the orbit, with three smaller Cruisers with it
-
The current dojo fleet was a small one, Twenty one cruisers with one main cruiser, which suddenly disappeared, an empty void where it had been. At the same time, several smaller ships entered the ranks, frigates by the looks of them
-
Unknown scans where done on the new flag ship, extensive battle plans being drawn up. Ten more Rupture bombs remained on the Valhalla, ten to use against ten of the defending ships. There was also the three frigates and the fire power they can use, plus the four carriers and the thousand strong armada of gunships stored in them.

Edited by Sardonyx: 2/3/2017 12:22:10 AMThe sudden shift in the power of the fleet was noticed, the flagship having been marked for later discovery, although now it was gone. The Valhalla finally made an appearance, albeit at a safe distance. It took the defending fleet off guard, firing off its twin Super MACs several times, moving to impact six different ships. The same tactic was used then, as before it could be fired upon itself, it vanished from the spot it was at.
-
The ships moved to the the sides, their wasn't anything stellar, but quick enough to evade the shots
-
The area went silent again, until it was that a Carrier appeared behind their blockade of the planet. In an instant, its escort of near 300 fighters swarmed from the hangars of the ship, the nimble fighters being fast, powerful, and armored. Shield generators where on them, providing further defense as they harrased the fleet. The massive Carrier vanished, as the other three followed in random areas, unleashing their combined forces of some odd 1200 gunships.
-
The dojo released their own fights, gunships and dropships, and with the only six cruisers, the space was quickly filled with 2,400 smaller ships, engaging in combat with the Unknown
-
The invading swarm of ships proved faster, out maneuvering their foes and somehow managing ro herd the 2,400 in groups, random fighters flying and darting around as the defending ships where slowly being picked apart. Two of the remaining three frigates appeared again, along the top and belly of one of the outside Dojo ships. In an instant they unleashed their payload, the same move as before, only with double the force now. They warped again. Vanishing back into the cosmos.
-
The ships had been briefed on this, and they had increased their shields on the belly and on top, these shields Taking most of the damage. The fighters moved quickly, but not as quickly as the invaders. However, it was clear that they were the more skilled of the two. Groups used their combined fire power to take down scores of invading ships, dwindling their numbers to 1,000 extremely quickly, though the dojo's own numbers were also decreasing. Down to 2,250
-
Explosions began going in the herds that had formed, further dwindling their numbers.
-
They separated, and moved in partnerships. One ship flew past, destroying the ships generator. The second ship took down the invading ship itself. Both sides were losing troops, and fast. 850 to 1,950
-
The invading ships adapted quickly, using a form of constant evasions and multiple attacks from different sourcesnto combat the pairs. Tracking missiles where used, seeking and destroying any number of the pairs possible. Outside of the battle. Another Rupture bomb had been launched.
