Platform: Xbox One
For the past two or three days, I have been unable to do anything in Destiny, other than sit in orbit by myself. If I try to join someone that is in orbit, I will sit there with them for about 30 seconds, then I will get kicked and receive a message, "You have left your current fireteam. You are being returned to orbit." If I queue into crucible matches, I will last anywhere from 2 seconds to 8 minutes before the same thing happens. Also has happened in patrols and strikes. I also tried queuing up by myself in a private match, and was kicked after about 10 minutes the first time, 20 seconds the second time.
It's fairly simple to reproduce:
1. Log in to Destiny
2. Select your character
3. Do anything
4. Get returned to orbit
It's really quite frustrating, I just want to play some crucible, or save the universe or something. Please help, Bungo.

This occurs on the Xbox one, and is a known issue. Until there is a fix, you can prevent this from happening by setting your self to appear as off-line, and your fellow fire team members should also set themselves to appear as off-line.

Hey jam time, There's been an issue lately where some players may be removed from their Fireteams and returned to orbit. You'll want to try clearing your console cache, that usually fixes it right up! https://www.bungie.net/Mobi/en/About/Article?id=12539 Bungie is aware of this issue: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/45307
