"Again, apologies." The gates of the dojo creaked open as Cooper entered, the others scattering into the forest "Welcome to the Dojo."
-
"Place looks better than I expected. A friend told me about this place. I thought I could use a quick break from all that fighting." Łowca pulled out a torn notebook, he started to write down a few things.
-
"And what did you expect this place to look like exactly?"
-
"Well, my friend gave me a description of the place. He told me to look for 'A trailer park from Alabama in the Middle East full of dumbasses who need to burn in hell.' I know it was a joke but he only gives that description for crappy places. But the dojo looks great."
-
The two stopped in front of the cherry blossom tree, names upon names etched into his trunk Baxter, Reynfrey, Rook, Maso, Karishad.... "What was your friend's name? '
-
"Rook. Why do you ask?"
-
Jack suddenly fell silent, staring at the tree
-
"Let me take a guess. He was shot because his psycological problems caused him to finally brake. His computer AI told whoever that Rook should be killed. I've known Rook and the problems he had for a long time. Everyday he would tell me his plan. I got his messege when his AI, Ion, sent out an S.O.S. I thought I still had time to help."
-
"I'm sorry to say. It's too late. He's been gone a few days."
-
"His helmet still around?"
-
"Yeah actually, I Think it's with his armour. We put it on a stand to in the Hall Of The Valiant."
-
"Is there anyway I can take that helmet from that place wothiut pissing anyone off?"
-
"Maybe. But if you're looking to speak with Ion, the A.I. was upgraded into the Dojo's systems."
-
"All I'd like to do is copy some of the data from Rook's helmet. If possible, I'd like to talk with Ion. It won't take that long, just want to see how he is holding up."
-
"We can speak with him first. It'll be simpler." Cooper led Lykrow(Learning how to spell his name) through the dojo, headed towards the headquarters
-
"Sounds like a plan." Łowca followed. He quickly fell silent and started writing more stuff down in his notebook.
-
"What are you writing down exactly? Must be important."
-
"Just writings of everyday life. Just some simple stuff. Also, my memory can get mixed up, this helps me keep track of it."
-
"Oh I see." The two approached a doorway, and entered, walking into a large command center. And suddenly, a strange blob of pixels appeared before the two. Ion
-
"Yo, Ion, it's me, Łowca." The blob turns into a blue square. It lights up as it talks. Well, I didn't think you would show up. How's it going? "I'm doing well, how about you?" Same as always, but it feels wierd without Rook, now I'm hooked up to this giant ass computer. "Sounds good. They got you running any tasks yet?" Not yet. Both of them fell silent for a moment.
-
"So. This is nice."
-
Oh, Rook had a messege he recorded that he wanted played when he died. Rook's voice can be heard playing. "Ok, so, if you hear this, that means I'm dead. Also, go -blam!- yourself." "As expected. Well, Ion, it was nice talking to you." Yeah, nice talking to you as well. Łowca leaves the room. "So, where is his helmet located again?"
-
"I like to call it the hall of the valiant, but it's mostly a burial site. Like a graveyard."
-
"As long as I can access the helmet I don't care. What does Ion currently do right now? Besides being hooked up to a giant computer."
-
"Provide tactical analytical support in battle."
