Thorn is actually an OK hand cannon right now. Aside from its base range. It has 1 range perk (and it weakens the gun, in my opinion) Therefore, the hand cannon is bad as all hand cannons require rifled barrel already. And then Bungie throws a wrench in it and reduces hand cannon's base range! At least pair it with a range buff on Thorn so this hand cannon can be uses in more range than shotgun range!
