About this whole bladedancer nerf and everyone crying about it makes me realize how this community has little critical thinking skills.
Lets think about this. What kills a bladedancer most while trying to kill a guardian?
A shotgun critical blast to your head/melee and a lot of the times it doesnt work.
So. Now that shotguns will barely have ammo and they can't critical.. What stops a bladedancer from swiping a whole team in close proximity(They are very hard to team shoot) blinking and or double jumping and on top of that regent health every kill.(Unlike the cool down on the similar sunbreaker perk)
Point is with all the changes to the crucible sandbox Bungie saw a potential problem and everyone should actually start looking at this for what it is: an indirect bladedancer buff because now it will be significantly harder to shut you down(same with stormcaller and sunbreaker)

I never thought of it this way. I guess it makes a bit more sense now. You sir get some mad props!
-
Sorry but people just want to piss and moan about everything because apparently they have nothing better to do. Kids these days...
-
Neither should have happened. Those saying bladedancer nerf was uncalled for are the same people also saying that the special ammo wipe shouldn't have happened
-
Hoping the matador I got still works. No godly range perks, but it has close and/ or personal and cascade. Plan on keeping it for super shutdowns lol.
-
Logic in this forum?? Seriously? This is the same forum where we have people that create a post asking why their supers are not working when they have Memory of Felwinter equipped, or keep asking why hasn't ToO or IB started when it's already past 10 AM (but still early on the West Coast of the US) Just stop or you'll confuse the masses LOL.. BTW - good point. Let's just wait until the patch goes live to see what actually happens vs. speculating or crying it's the end of the world.
-
But how will little timmy make his super awesome wub wub hunter montage now?
-
I agree, compete garbage, bungee has given us three weekly updates that say the same thing, f'ing garbage.
-
I can 9/10 times gun one down with TLW before getting killed. Its not hard.
-
Let's use our brains, okay. *reads third paragraph* I'm out, done with you
-
This is one of the only posts that has actually made me change my opinion.👏👏👏 Well done
-
I mean I do well with it. I don't even use the perk they are gonna nerf. Kinda feel like everyone is overreacting for nothin lol

Edited by dnrobs: 2/10/2017 4:38:50 AMPeople who know what they are doing can cause a bladedancer to use up their entire super by just staying in the Air.
-
Thank you! I am very pleased you are a part of this community. *waves* 🙋🏼 Critical thinking skills and logic... who would've thunk it?
-
Actually a legitimate point! Thank you :)
-
U don't need a head shot/melee with a shotty to kill a blade!!!

Edited by zNapSack: 2/10/2017 3:27:36 AMGood point about getting a significant amount of health on every kill. That may prove to be more advantageous than simply activating health regeneration on kill like it does currently. Think about it: you get a portion of your total health immediately and don't have to wait for it to regenerate over time. That may allow one to go on a longer kill streak since each kill gives health which may allow one to get to full health in only a few kills. Therefore, in that respect it may turn out to be a buff rather than a nerf. The only downside is the shield only regenerates over time but that may not prove to be a significant disadvantage.

dammit man.. logic has no place in these forums. what were you thinking by posting something that makes sense.. BACK TO THE SALT MINES WITH YOU

Edited by Swiftlock: 2/10/2017 1:07:50 AMEven without shotgun criticals, Bladedancers are still taken down quickly when a team concentrates fire on them. A good meatshot to the gut plus a melee attack will bring them close to death or kill them outright if they're already hurt beforehand. They are also extremely vulnerable to Nova Bomb/Fist of Havoc. Besides, if multiple teammates are set up to get eaten by an Arc Blade, a good part of the blame is on them for poor positioning. I have used my brain, and I still don't understand what good the Hungering Blade nerf does for the game.

I'm just mad because the devs could not give a single legitamate reason. Their only excuse was, "it's annoying to play against"
-
Holy shit. You're right.
-
Edited by mainenroku: 2/10/2017 2:31:28 AMThe Devs should of explain that to us not some bs like They think it's annoying. So some must of think that's the reason the Devs can't play and nerf things that annoy them.
-
They nerfed the health regen on blade dancer. Instead of regaining health and shield, it's just health. Meaning getting team shot will definitely result in a dead blade dancer
-
Supers in general are going to be harder to stop, so at least I get to see players scatter like roaches when they hear an activation.
-
I believe ammo will actually become more abundant ( if you're a good player) because it spawns every minute and good players can survive for long periods of time
-
Someone doesn't know what team shotting is.
-
Bladedancer is a super, it's supposed to feel powerful and should not be able to be taken out by one player... this nerf was completely unnecessary
