Not to mention the much higher movement speed that other classes have in their super. Such as ionic blink or a skating titan.

A single hammer can't kill someone in super. Suncharge definitely will though. That takes a tonne of energy though.

And while you can swipe quickly you have A. The shortstops, B. Slow movement. One can very easily outrun a blade. Try to outrun others and they throw a projectile at you or in stormtrance case the range of it's super. C. Bladedancer can be easily shutdown even against someone not in super. Other supers you can charge at someone and come out alive. Blade you charge at someone they weaken and shotgun you to finish you off. They needed blink which was the best way to come at someone. Best way to get any good mobility out a hunter requires you to i.e. An exotic slot when it could be used for something far better.
