So. Now that shotguns will barely have ammo and they can't critical..
Except universal remote, which is also a primary (and chaperone, but let's forget it for a second since ammos might be a problem).
What stops a bladedancer from swiping a whole team in close proximity
Well, pretty much everything, so why even having shotguns in game if they are not meant to kill in close proximity?
I do get what you want to say, however it is quite evident (to me) that most of the great pvp shotgunners does NOT use bladedancers. You need to be fast, you don't need to have a dumb blink that most of the times puts you in a situation where you don't want to be or just teleports you in front of your enemy but takes you half a second to be able to shoot once again.
I don't really think that bladedancers needed to be touched, they were just fine where they actually where, there are tons of things that can kill them, including other supers, teamshooting, shotguns, fusion rifles.. Literally everything can kill them exactly like everything can kill any other guardian: I feel it's far easier hitting a bladedancer rather than a fast moving titan, as a very basic example.

Everyone's different though, I suppose :) For me, Titans are fairly easy to telegraph. Twighlight Garrison the only real variable imo. I can kill blade dancers if they are bad at the game, but it's hard to deal with a decent player when they are in your face spazzing out. Doesn't make the hungering blade nerf right however, even if I understand Bungie's reasoning.

Edited by briosheje: 2/10/2017 6:19:01 PMYou probably have problem hitting bladedancers which are actually jumping (which is hard, of course, but they give you the same troubles as gunslingers and every single hunger that can actually jump), but are you serious about having bad times hitting bladedancers which are blinking? Blink is only useful when you need to run away from someone, it was nerfed so many times already that I can't remember any relevant player who is still using it as main way to play, except DiffizzIe (who mastered it and who is extremely good at it, though he doesn't use it to run on you with a shotgun, what a coincidence).
