A Clone, An alliance soldier a robot and a man with an overcompensating sword found themselves in the heat of the Shi canyon. Even though it was still winter, it was well above 30 degrees Celsius. They all sat in a large jeep which made its way across the dry and barren landscape...

Considering that Velinnea, and Valeria switched to more lighter armor, it was surprising that the two of them were still sweating. "You know, I'm more surprised that the desert hasn't exactly gotten colder since the last time I was around here." Velinnea replied, panting from the heat. "Weather in the deserts, especially in a similiar planet to humanity's 'Earth' can have extremely high temperatures in the day and very cool temperatures in the night. This is not similiar to what you call 'Tatoonie'" the Geth replied, as they kept driving in the keep. Their weapons were out to show. "So, Alex...how bad is this?" Valeria asked, specifying about the bandit situation.
-
"Well. To put it simply... They own this entire god damn continent!" He stated with bluntness. "Most of the drugs that go around Tatakai are made here then shipped off. So Teluria, a city in the Ollimund wants us to find the source of these imports and blow it all to hell!"
-
"Affirmitive. All armaments are heavily equipped. Velinnea-Mandalorian is most proficient with long range sniper combat, while Hong-Lieutenant can be most acceptable in use of drones and sentries. She is also very used in hacking synthetic targets." The Geth explained. "We may also call in our allies ship, the SSV Deimos if necessary." It says, loading its Geth Pulse Rifle.
-
"That's pretty cool C3PO." Alex called the Geth. "So, the plan is to head up to that village over there. Assuming you see it?" On the horizon seemed to be a village or town of some sorts.
-
"Of course, prototype Cloud. Perhaps we may prepare for strategy or full combat. Which would you prefer?" The Geth asked, the other two women in the back about to prepare to shoot anything within the jeep's proximity.
-
"Jesus everyone is trigger happy these days! Alright you gunslingers, just keep cool. We're just here to find info. A lot of the villages here are old western fashioned, and that applies to gun laws as well." Alex went on as the Jeep approached the village. He slowed down, and the group could see dozens of people walking its streets. There was a large saloon at the end of the strip mall fashioned village with its two story buildings. But the jeep was getting a lot of stares...
-
"Well then...the Geth is certantly going to make things awkward." Valeria said, concealing all their weapons. The Geth had decided to explore the town. Valeria and Velinnea had gotten out of the keep to follow Deity.
-
The three walked around for a moment before Alex pointed to the saloon. "We might find something out in there. But hold up, we sure C3PO is gunna be fine on his own?" He asked.
-
"Yeah. Clanker is just really trying to scan stuff, send it up to his fleet. Trust me, they won't come during this mission...unless it takes more than a couple of days." Velinnea replied, "He won't be much of a hostile person unless there's LOTS of shooting toward us involved. I've learned that when Merrick and Cryark...friends of mine, by the way... tried to test the Geth's strengths."
-
"You know for something that's super high tech and intelligent, it comes off as kind of childish doesn't it?" Alex shared as he began to walk towards the saloon, his white leather trench coat gathering up dust.

Edited by A Stormy Dio: 2/12/2017 2:57:32 AM"Well, when you end up in a place you don't recognize, you would tend to be somewhat curious about where you are, right? Well, considering I have a child of my own, it's no surprise that something like a Geth would do the same. I meanl, if I ended up at a place like Rannoch, I'd be tending to to search the place." Valeria said.
-
"Fair point." Alex said the three made their way into the large saloon. The saloon was lively, and filled with dozens of men and women. A man played the piano in the corner while other men drank themselves away. "I'm gunna go ask the bartender if he knows anything." Alex said. "You two girls look around. Talk to some of these fine gentlemen." He finished sarcastically as he walked over to the bar.
-
"Don't worry; we'll try not to carry attention to ourselves." Velinnea whispered, a smirk on her face, as the two looked around for people to talk to that wasn't drunk.
-
The saloon was filled with desperadoes. Many had red bandanas around their necks, and they seemed to be the ones who were drinking. However, at one table, there was a lone man in a black duster...
-
"Valeria, you keep watch on anything that's going on around here; I'll talk to the loner." The clone responded, finding a chair to sit at across from the lone being.
-
The man was drinking from a steel mug. He took a long sip before resting it on the table. "...can I help you?" Said the gruff low voice.
-
"Yeah...you have enough time to stay here and talk?" Velinnea bluntly said.
-
He looked up. The man was attractive with his edged features. He had high cheekbones, and a blond afternoon shadow across his face. He had a large roman nose and Hard eyes. "Don't plan on moving. So I s'pose so." He answered.
-
The clone leaned into his ear, before asking, "Do you happen to have any information about these little drug rings out here?" She leaned back to her chair, relaxing a little bit on it.
-
He took a long sip from his drink before replying. "You're playing a dangerous game, miss."
-
"Well, if that dangerous game involves money...I'm in. Why not; taking over the businesses is our specialty." Velinnea replied, a smug grin on her face. She had used sarcasm in an attempt to get information out of him.
-
"And if you were smart you'd know this ain't any business you've ever seen." He replied gruffly.
-
"Would you rather prefer a synthetic species with some of the most intelligent minds available devastate this business in the span of a week? Because it's going to happen if you don't give me what I need." She replies, stretching the truth of the Geth a small bit.
-
"Be my guest." He stated. "But you've already been spotted. They know you're here and why."
