Cannon growls in annoyance upon being called Jango and draws two fragmentation grenades. He hurls them both into the pirate mass.

There were no more red dots located. Up ahead, about two miles, was the largest building. "Alright. We gotta get to that building." Said Deity. "No way are these guys unorganized, not after that attack. I'm wagering whatever dickhead pays them is in that building. If we take him out, we stand a chance."
-
"I'll take point this time. My armor should take whatever they can throw at us." Cannon replies, moving up in front. "How did they know we were coming?"
-
"They probably didn't." Said deity. "They're trying to hold the city. These guys were likely on guard duty while the rest are out partying." Deity followed Cannon and waved the captain over. "How are we doing?" He asked. "Not good. Took a really bad hit." "Ya...okay. Take to the buildings and pick these bastards off." "Got it!" She replied as she went to talk to her crew.
-
"If we can confirm there are no civilians in the main building, my ship could level it... I could try and deploy a flitter drone disguised as a bug."
-
"Scout it out first before we head out." Deity suggested.
-
Cannon nods. "It's too winder for a drone anyways." He decides, moving towards the building.
-
As Cannon got to his vantage point, he saw many, MANY people within the building. Most were civilians, which would explain where all of them went. But there were also tens of dozens of armed guards roaming it. They turned the entire building into its own city from the looks of it. Deity came in on the comm's. "Hey! What do you see over there?"
-
"Well, I found all the civies. They're in the building... Surounded by a few hundred guards." He replies, keeping low and out of sight.
-
"A few hundred...Shit" He cursed to himself. "We have to create a distraction some how. Something to draw those guards out."
-
"I'll get right on that." Cannon switches his blaster to sniper mode, preparing to distract. "I'll only be able to keep them busy for a few moments. Get the civies out of there, then come help me."
-
"Wait what's your plan?!" He asked.
-
"I'm going to get them to chase me, make an opening for you to rescue the civies." He looks for a target he could hit that wouldn't be likely to be spotted.
-
"Okay...alright! Do it! I got the captain here with me so we'll take care of it!"
-
"Copy that. Let's hope I don't get blown to oblivion." He aligns the scope and fires, sending a high caliber plasma coated steel bolt through the head of a guard.
-
The guard inside the building dropped to the ground, dead. But no one noticed the kill due to its discreetness. He would need something much bigger.
-
Cannon scopes out the building, finding a wall thats away from any hostages. He sends a wrist rocket towards the wall.
-
The explosion on the building attracted attention, and dozens of the guards sprinted towards it. But the fact was, the guards were still inside the tower. Cannon had to draw them out and that wasn't going off to happen now. Deity and the captain approached the tower, and opened its doors. They shot any resistance and began to lead civies out, but they were only on the first floor...
-
Cannon moves so the guards are able to see him before tucking behind cover and firing several rounds at the guards.
-
They see him and open fire, he hears and feels the bullets pounding against the building immediately and they don't seem to end.
-
He continues to pop up and fire at the enemy, allowing his armor to take the bullets and trusting that they are to far off to actuately aim for the weaker points.
-
Alex began to escort the civilians out of the building, and as Cannon looked up he saw some of the pirates actually being attacked by the civilians who greatly out numbered them. However this made aiming difficult with the people in the way. The continued distraction wasn't going to work now, because the refugees decided to take that toll upon theirselves.
-
Switching back to his blaster configuration, he moves in to help them. Opening fire whenever a he has a clear shot as he moves closer.
-
He eventually moved into the building, dank in its design and crude in its looks. The first floor was evacuated but there was another seven to go and he could hear the gunfire on the second floor.
-
He moves in on the secods floor, weapon ready.
-
Alex and the captain were behind a desk, firing at the pirates who were held up behind doors in the hallways. Civilians were ducked on the ground, trying to avoid the gunfire.
