One of the writers said "-blam!- white people" on Twitter. I think he's a writer.
Is it really that bad? I hear people are cancelling their Netflix because of it. Seems like an overreaction to me.
Anyway discuss but keep it friendly.

I just don't care. It looks dumb, so I just won't watch it. I'm not going to cancel my subscription because of it. Obviously I can't judge the show because I haven't seen it (we all know how deceptive trailers can be). I've heard that the movie it's based on isn't as racist as this show appears to be, so maybe they're just marketing it like that to get a reaction. Granted the reaction has been mostly negative, but I've heard a few people say that they wouldn't have even heard of the show if everyone hadn't reacted so loudly to it, so in a way, the boycotters could be helping Netflix by getting them free marketing.
