"Alright. So my info is pointing to a space in the Gellidius, that A) is freaking hot and B) super ghetto. As in, we could get killed if we look someone the wrong way ghetto." Alex was explaining to Lyn where they were going. The objective was to find a source of diamonds which he could mine and sell into the market to fund his company. However as is all mineral mining, it was a gamble. And his info was less then reliable. "So, we go there and we drive around. Try to find something. If we are lucky, we can find the source of the diamonds or scan for em and hire a company to take care of it."

Lyn listens closely to Alex as he explains where they're going and what they're going to be doing on their mission. She nods as he talks and smiles with enthusiasm. "Alright! Sounds like this'll be a breeze! When do we get started?"
-
"Right now." Alex said as he turned the steering wheel of the '67 Chevy Impala to the right and down the road. In the distance, at the foot of a mountain, was a small village. He drove the car towards it, and the two arrived within the small five home town. It was dingy, and dank. The people there were skin and bone as the two exited the car. A small boy ran up to Lyn and tugged at her clothing as he opened his mouth. He could hardly speak, but he cracked out the word "water." As he stared up at the woman.
-
Lyn smiles down at the boy and pulls out a small waterskin from seemingly no where before handing it to the boy. "Here you go, child."
-
The boy took the water and drank it. He smiled before running away. Alex walked around the hood of the car to Lyn. "That was awfully nice of you!" He said. "But you might wanna make sure you still have your wallet..."
-
"I don't carry money, Alex, and my hands were on my swords the whole time." She winks at him. "I'm a responsible adult now."
-
"A responsible adult and a terrible liar. Heh! Reminds me of someone. Anyways let's see what's going on here. We don't have any time to spare." He finished as he tightened his sword around his shoulder.
-
She gets clearly offended at his comment. "I'm not that bad of a liar!" She crosses her arms and blushes in embarrassment from remembering the lies she told earlier.
-
"Girl you said you were brought here on a magical unicorn summoned by an old wizard!" Alex stated with a chuckle. "C'mon. Let's get moving. This dust isn't very good for my skin."
-
She sighs and nods. "Alright, Alex. Lead the way because I'm not quite sure what to do or where to go."
-
"Ya all I have is a General location. So let's see if-" "HELLO!" Cried an old feminine voice. An old brown skinned woman walked from her hut and approached the two. "Our saviours! You have arrived!" Said the woman as she grabbed Alex's hand and kissed it. "Errrrrr what?" Alex said with confusion. The old lady walked over to Lyn and took her hand as well.
-
Lyn giggles and just lets it happen. "Savior? I thought it would take a bit more work than this to be called that."
-
"No. No. We saw you coming many days ago." Said the old woman. "Come, come!" She said as she began to hobble away, waving for the two to follow. "Well okay then..." Alex said as he began to follow her.
-
Lyn followed behind Alex with a hand resting on the hilt of one of her swords just in case. "Where are we going, Miss?"
-
"You know, you know!" She said. Alex looked back at Lyn in confusion as the lady walked the two to the end of the village, where they saw a massive cave that went into the mountain. "In there! In there!" She said. "Lady, what are you talking about?!" Alex asked with a hint of impatience.
-
Lyn places a hand on Alex's shoulder to try and calm him down before glancing over at the woman. "Please, tell us what you mean. You're being extremely vague."
-
"You don't know?" The old lady asked. "God sent you to us. To help us! To open the mine! Demons now in mine. They control it. Mine have no more. But we can not explore mine with demons in mine."
-
Lyn nervously laughs and scratches the back of her neck. "Well, she's not completely wrong with what she just said. At least one of us is sent by a god."
-
Alex looked to Lyn with a raised eyebrow. "...We're talking about this later." He said before turning his head to the elder. "So what do you want us to do lady?" He asked. "Purge demons. Save us!" She clarified.
-
Lyn shrugs and starts to walk into the mineshaft. "We'll probably never talk about it. Now, lets go kill some demons. That's my speciality."
-
"...RIIIIIIGHT. Got it." Alex said as he responded to Lyn. He nodded to the elder before following the girl towards the mineshaft. It was dark inside, and they couldn't see further in from where they stood.
-
She stops and looks around for something to give her light. "Did you happen to bring something to light the place up?"
-
"Not really...you wouldn't happen to know any magic would you?" He asked
-
Lyn sighs and shakes her head. "I've got a little magic, but I suck with it and can't make a light."
-
"Can you make fire?"
