"I'm going with plan A." Said Alex. "The fact is, I can help you build up a force that Teagan can't withstand. And even then, if you stay you WiILL die, then he's going to focus on the people again anyways."
Jospeh still looked pensive. He could be pushed either way....

"The people's lives are expendable. The rebellion movement is not."
-
"When you put it that way this seems like the coldest decision ever..." Jospeh said as he rubbed his face. "...okay. The North Peak rebellion will join Infinity Corp. it's our only option to save our people. We'll pack up immediately." "Good!" Alex said as he slid his phone over to Joseph. "Here, use these directions to reach our base, Coldbourne castle." Joseph took the phone and looked at it, and slid it in his pocket. "I...have to address the men." Joseph said with anxiety. "Make your way back to Teagan. I'll deal with everything here..."
-
"Sometimes, it's the bad decisions that lead to a good ending..." He looked down at the ground. Royal had always been, Well colder than most. But this seemed extreme.
-
"Ya. I hope you're right." Said Joseph as he exited the tent. Alex let out a breath as he looked to Roy. "It is the right decision...right...?" He asked Roy. It seemed he was asking more for confirmation then anything.
-
"Yeah... Yeah of course. We need the men right? I don't even know why yet... Are we attacking someone? Or is this just for us? Surrendering lives to better ourselves?"
-
Edited by Inflatablepants: 2/16/2017 2:47:01 AM"For us? No. It's for the rest of Tatakai. If these guys stay here...I don't think they are going to make it. They have good hearts, and I'd rather see them in control of North Peak then that asshole. And THATS what's good for Tatakai."
-
"Whatever floats your boat Deity." Royal sighed as he exited the tent, looking around the camp
-
The men had already started to pack up and Deity followed behind Roy. The two made their way out of the cave and back to the car where they drove down to North Peak once more. They entered its cities and made their way back to Teagan. Who was now throwing short tipped darts at an armoured man in his dining hall. "Well?!" He asked. "I didn't hear the shots from the mountain! So did you somehow manage to stomp out that rebellion is absolute stealth then?!" "No one died." Said Alex, which resulted in anger to poor into Teagan's ugly face.
-
Royal crossed his arms over his chest, leaning against the wall "You said get rid of them. You never specified how. So we just got them to leave"
-
"NO! WHEN I SAY GET RID OF REBELS I MEAN KILL THEM!" He screamed before coughing disgustingly. "What?" Alex asked. "Well how are we supposed to know that? You didn't clarify." "Sir." Said Smith. "You simply told them to get rid of the rebellion. They did so. And in front of many witnesses did they accept and know your terms. By your own law you must provide your service to them." It seemed that smith was on Roy and Alex's side. However he spoke hastily, as if he was attempting something.
-
"A deal's a deal...." Royal was busy, amongst his own thoughts to realize Smith was pulling anything
-
"AGH! I HATE LOOPHOLES! FINE! YOU CAN HIRE MY SOLDIERS! THEY HAVE FULL REIGN TO ACCEPT YOUR PAY AND LEAVE!" "Oh my god thank you." Said smith as he turned to Alex. "for the love of GOD hire me right now!" Alex raised an eyebrow at smith as Teagan grew even more mad. "How much...?" Asked Alex. "Million dollars, thousand dollars, ten dollars I don't care just hire me." "Well shit you got a deal!" "SMITH YOU DAMN TRAITOR!" Yelled Teagan. "Traitor? No he just hired me. Adios." Said Smith as he walked out of the castle. Alex looked back on Teagan. "We'll be picking up a few more men on the way out...thanks Teagan." Alex said with a grin as he waved Royal over for their exit.
-
"One second..." Royal looked over at Teagan "Listen to me very carefully. We're taking your men. We're stopping the rebellion. We're doing you a great service. So if you try to a make move on those innocent civilians, I will make sure you live forever. In pain and suffering. And I will make damn sure, know one ever remembers your name. You got that you incompetent old man?"
-
The man looked at Roy with distaste and anger. But, after a moment. He simply waved his hand in a shooing gesture. "Bah! I run my city how I please! Now leave my sight! And NEVER return!" He yelled. Alex gripped Roy's shoulder. "Not now." Alex whispered. "We aren't ready."
-
Royal shook his head in disgust as he left the room, dragging Deity by his arm. As they exited, Royal mumbled something along the lines of "Shoulda let me stab him"
-
The two made their way through the village and began to talk to the soldiers their. By the time they were leaving, they were able to acquire thirty of the two hundred men as well as eight vehicles that came with the service. The two began to drive back to the castle when Alex turned his head to Roy. "We'll be back, don't worry."
-
Royal simply stared out the jeeps window, lost in thought "Bad decisions lead to good Endings..." He sighed "I've always been fond of the idea of choices. They are what shape you after all. But I just don't want to make them anymore. I can't make choices like these anymore..."
-
Alex let out a breath before he said "hey, I get it dude. But these are the kinds of things you HAVE to act on otherwise people will die, and you will be responsible. It doesn't matter if you didn't even do anything, because you are still guilty as shit if you didn't help." He thought about his words for a minute but thought they were a tad confusing. "Does that make sense?"
-
"Yeah..." He pressed his forehead against the glass, which fogged up with each breath be took "You know I almost died two weeks ago? I was battling this wanna be god that claimed the powers of a fallen hero. And we battled. It ended with me getting stabbed through the chest, even got the scars to prove it. I was dying. And then, I lived. I was saved by some guy I don't know. And the man I fought, I cut his head off..." He sighed, further fogging up the mirror "I should retire to a beach house. Get away from everything."
-
"Ha! I'd take you up on that idea ANY day! But shit! We gotta get shit done, right?" He said. Now, Alex spoke to Roy like a friend.
-
"Hehe... Yah I guess you could say that... Gotta get shit done." Royal moved away from the window, and now looked at Deity "Thanks." He sounded... Sincere.
-
Alex looked to Roy and raised an awkward eyebrow. "Look at us! We're bonding!" He said with a healthy dose of sarcasm.
-
"Next thing you know, we're the new Falk and Zane!"
-
"Oh god no! Please no!" He cried. The jeep continued on and on, until eventually the reached the castle once more...
End! Sorry this wasn't too exciting. It's more set up for a much crazier quest later.
